Permanent REACTIVE hypoglycemia from Pmag/Superdrol cycle?

So i ran a 6 week pmag cycle months ago, started in early January. I pulsed Superdrol throughout. Never more than 10 mgs, never more than 3x per week. PMAG was kept a 75 mg for all 6 weeks.

Started to notice I would often get extremely tired after eating pre workout meals, crazy brain fog, a lot of times i would even pass out for a bit, like 20-30 mins, wake up with a headache, insane dry mouth, irritable as hell. Now I've heard of people going hypo from SD, but the carbs cures that. I had the opposite problem, it was when i ate carbs, i would go hypo.

At first i blamed it on just PH lethargy, maybe from test being low or whatever.

Anyway fast forward, fully recovered, libido is back, hormone panel is fine, but i'm stuck with this reactive hypoglycemia. Here's a link if u want to read more about it. ht tp://en.wiki pedia. org/wiki/Reactive_hypo glycemia ... can't post links so remove the spaces

I was hoping it would go away once i was recovered, but it hasn't. It's pretty severe and has had a serious negative impact on my way of life. Any decent meal seems to cause this to happen to me. I've seen doctors on multiple occasions, but as many of you know, doctors are completely retarded when it comes to this kind of thing. They think i'm depressed and are talking about putting me on anti-depressants.. SMH

I'm going to see my doc again next week, and i'm going to demand she refer me to a specialist. This is pretty serious. I realize it's possible maybe I already had this problem in some minor way, but it was NEVER something I noticed until this PH cycle. So i have to think the PH cycle brought it about.

Has anyone ever heard of anything like this happening?

Sounds like you may have hyperinsulinemia

What's your height and weight

Generally hyperinsulinemia with insulin resistance cause a massive drop in blood sugar.

Get your c pep tested.

What I've seen with some of my heavy clients (not saying your heavy). Is they eat frequently. Generally not a bad thing

But when that happens insulin keeps climbing and you never have time for glucagon to kick in and work. Do this for an extended period of time you body won't know how to react to the low sugar BC glucagon ha been absent

6' 2" 180 (yes, i lost most of my gains, yes it was a stupid cycle to run). Obviously i'm not heavy. low bf%. i would try to eat frequently, but lately havent been. It seems to occur based on how large the meal is...carbohydrates do seem to be worse. I've gotten fasted glucose tested and it's fine, not sure if that's relevant here.

Now i'm wondering if it's this:

Postprandial syndrome and adrenergic postprandial syndrome[edit]

If there is no hypoglycemia at the time of the symptoms, this condition is called "postprandial syndrome." It might be an "adrenergic postprandial syndrome" — blood glucose levels are normal, but the symptoms are caused through autonomic adrenergic counterregulation.[8] Often, this syndrome is associated with emotional distress and anxious behaviour of the patient.[2] Dietary recommendations for reactive hypoglycemia can help to relieve symptoms of postprandial syndrome.

^^If i were to find out my blood glucose was fine during these episodes. Basically for some reason my body is not dealing with the release of epinephrine correctly. IDK

hypoglycemic from eating carbs... that sounds like your body went full retard on you

that link makes it sound the same as hyperinsulinemia. are they the same?
full retard man. its debilitating. My family is usually completely understanding, but even they are starting to think it's "all in my head" or some ****. like im depressed or something. YES i feel depressed after eating, among other things, but NO i'm not depressed generally.

I feel the best after i haven't eaten for hours, talking like eating a tiny breakfast and then not eating again til 6 PM. so i'll be starving, but at least it feels like my brain/mind are working correctly.

Seems main different between this hyperinsulinemia and reactive hypoglycemia is the obesity aspect. i'm so far from obese. BTW i have gotten thyroid checked... not sure exactly which markers but my doc said my thyroid was functioning fine.

When i go to my doc, i will bring all these things up. I tell her my problems and she just gives me a blank stare. Going to get a specialist for sure. You sound like a pretty good one, hopefully the one i get is good too. I never really had much faith in doctors but dealing with mine the past few months has completely caused me to lose my faith.

Let's saay it is hyperinsulinemia. what would the treatment be?

Sorry man.

What I did for my clients that had issues like this is an iso caloric diet consisting of 3 meals

Low glycemic, good healthy fats, low saturated fats (stearic acid can increase insulin release)

For example

33% protein
33% carbs
33% fats

At 3000 calories example your looking at

250/pro
250/ carb
105/ fat (rough numbers I'm not doing math right now)

But it's based off your caloric level.

Some glucose disposal agents blunt gluconeogenesis in the liver so be careful with those. For now.

Hca and vandal sulphate can help store glucose in the liver in particular. Which is why most people don't use them on a keto diet. But tht is not the case for you

Metabolic powder could work for you on controlling everything by shiftin metabolism after your meal thus relying more on fats for fuel then glucose

But I highly advise you talk more to your doctor after trying to fix your dietary habit. I'm a big believer that nutrition is the only medicine you need. Start there. Do a lot of research and speak with a doctor and come loaded with questions.

As a nutritionist, the diet plan is what I recommend to try and get everything functioning back to normal

You need to buy a cheap store brand glucose meter and use if when you're feeling like crap. That will tell you more than any fasting gkucose reading or Dr's guess, especially if they're accusing you I mental/psych issues.

I told one ******* dr I felt lethargic and he gave me samples of Ambien and Viagra and was talking about Zoloft. I quickly got a 2nd opinion and asked for a glucose reading. I was stupid hyperglycemic and was later diagnosed with type 1 diabetes.

If I had it to do over again I'd just buy a glucose meter and keep an eye on things before I went to a doctor to begin with.

I had this same type of issue but slightly different. I finally bought a glucose meter. When I started feeling shaky and anxious I would test my blood sugar. Almost every single time my readings were normal and when I saw the normal numbers my symptoms would vanish. Really insane
