Does anyone know how much 1/8th of a tsp of mdht powder weighs? or a quarter tsp? my scale is only accurate to .1 grams :think:

mine too. Just weigh one tablespoon (or more) and do the math.

Say, one T. = 10g, therefore one tsp. = 3.3g.

divide 3.3 by 8 to get the weight of 1/8 tsp.

Easiest way is to weigh 10 flat spoonfuls out, then do the division. If your scale can hold 10 teaspoons (5ml each) -- assuming you have a huge amount of MDHT -- dump all of that on. This divide by 80, and you'll be very accurate in your estimate of what each flat 1/8th tsp amounts to.

... after typing this out and looking up, I see that this pretty much says the same thing as Greenguy said... oh well, I typed it, so I'm posting it.

but if the scale is accurate to .1 grams only,i could have either .9,1 or 1.1 grams on my scale and not know?????

Yeah, that's why you add multiple spoonfuls. Doing that, in effect makes your scale accurate to 0.01 or even 0.001g for an AVERAGE measurement of a FLAT 1/8 tsp.
