I had varicocele surgery two months ago on my left testicle. I had an ultra sound a week or two before the surgery and it showed the large left varicocele but found no varicocele on my right testicle. Long story short...two months later my left testicle has recovered alot, but now my right testicle hurts! (the one that was ok). The area above the testicle (like the veins and tubes that are connected to the body) is now really puffy and feels like a new varicocele. Is it possible for a varicocele to randomly develope this late in life ( i am 21) without a traumatic injury? I forget but i thought my doctor said that varicocele don't develope usually without injury past puberty? Ideas? What could it be? Is it possible to get a right varicocele when I def. did not have one two months ago?
