I found an old email from a long time ago when I was friends with Pat and decided to try and contact him again and found out that he had passed away at age 22 in 2010. Words can not express how I feel, but here's his obituary with information for his scholarship for pharmacy students.

William was born on June 11, 1987 and passed away on Friday, April 16, 2010.
William was a resident of Tallahassee, Florida at the time of his passing.
Patrick attended Brandon Academy in Brandon, Florida, through eighth grade and then graduated from Newsome High School in 2005. Patrick was a December 2009 graduate of the University of South Florida in Tampa, receiving his B.S. degree in Biomedical Sciences with a minor in Public Health.
He is survived by his wife Lauren.
Funeral services for Patrick will be held at the First United Methodist Church, 1001 Constitution Drive, in Port St. Joe, Florida, at 2:00 PM Eastern Daylight Savings Time on Thursday, April 22, and immediately following at Holly Hill Cemetery in Port St. Joe. Pastor Mac Fulcher will officiate. The family will also receive friends at the First United Methodist Church on Thursday, April 22, from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM.

William Patrick Belin, 22, passed away suddenly in Tallahassee, Fla., on Friday, April 16, 2010.

Patrick was born in Jacksonville, Fla., on June 11, 1987, and moved to Valrico in 1988 with his parents, Steve and Lynn, and older brother Stephen.

As a young boy, Patrick – modest and soft-spoken – enjoyed and participated in sports and many school activities. He especially took pleasure in music and spending time with his brother Stephen and his many friends. He most of all enjoyed spending time at home.

Patrick attended Brandon Academy in Brandon, Fla., through eighth grade and then graduated from Newsome High School in 2005. During high school, he met the love and joy of his life, Lauren Ashley Rhyce, whom he married on June 12, 2009. Patrick was a Dec. 2009 graduate of the University of South Florida in Tampa, receiving his B.S. degree in Biomedical Sciences with a minor in Public Health. He had decided upon a career as a pharmacist and looked forward to joining his wife Lauren in Florida A&M University's College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences in the fall of 2010. While preparing for his pharmacy studies, Patrick worked in the pharmacy department of Publix Super Markets.

In addition to his wife Lauren Rhyce Belin, Patrick is survived by his father and mother Stephen Andrew Belin and Lynn Knox Belin of Bartlesville, Okla.; his brother, Stephen Andrew Belin, Jr.; his father-in-law and mother-in-law Larry and Sharon Rhyce of Valrico; grandparents, Tom and Mary Knox of Port St. Joe; grandparents-in-law Luis Zayas of Valrico and Mary Jane Rhyce of Lady Lake; brothers-in-law Ryan Rhyce of Atlanta, Georgia, and Christopher Rhyce of Tallahassee; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Patrick was predeceased by grandparents Jacob Chapman Belin and Myrle Fillingim Belin.

Funeral services for Patrick will be held at the First United Methodist Church, 1001 Constitution Drive, in Port St. Joe, FL, at 2 p.m. Eastern Daylight Savings Time on Thursday, April 22, and immediately following at Holly Hill Cemetery in Port St. Joe. Pastor Mac Fulcher will officiate.
