Gym Pics - 61 yr old

I cant help but wonder what lifting will do to our lifespan. Ageless is just that....ageless.
The man looks incredible. With no reservation Most young guys would gladly take his body.
I would guess that ageless will be able to run and ride a bike well after he is a hundred years old. (i dont feel i am exagerating)

I hope you are right Whiskey Steve, but appearances don't mean much when it comes to life excpectancy.
I'm no doctor, but I stayed in a Holiday Inn last night
Ageless how about you post up your PSA, Blood Pressure? How's your blood work look?

Thanks for asking!
Also..its not how long you live..its the quality of life while youre alive.

You don't owe me a thing Ageless. If you don't know your Blood Pressure and Blood values they're probably fine.
You're doing great!! Let us know how the IGF cycle goes. Watch the carbs or you'll notice some lethargy.

DR. always tells me my BP is great for my age, which isnt good enough for me. Im always striving to do better.Originally Posted by Triposinator
I like getting my bloodwork done now that I can pretty much read it myself. Its my 6 month test on how I am doing on the inside, which is the most important thing.
I just started back on policosinol - which is supossed to help my lipid profile.
We will see if it works!

LOL - my blood pressure goes up and down depending on what the lady taking it looks like. One variable we can't control - thank God for the little things

Jim..thats great, my goal is to motivate. I want "ALL" young and old to understand that hormone balance is just as important as a long walk on the beach or a work out at the gym.Originally Posted by jim brooks

My grandfather and father died from heart failure, did they really die from many years of low testosterone? Who knows...
As for myself, I'm going to keep on spreading the "word". Its great to live long enough to see your grandchildren, (done that) now I want to see my great grandchildren.
I know Im just rambling on here, any one else out there feel the way I do..or am I just nuts?

You asked fro more pics so here are some we took today.
I started a 60 day project on shoulders. Delts are difficult for me to build, and easy to overtrain.
You can see in my pics that my 2 yr old Amber likes to help.
I will work hard til April 25th, my 62nd birthday. Then I think I will slow down and enjoy the summer.
* tried to post pics...says I have used up all my space. I will haev to delete some older pics..then post the new ones I guess.

the guy , if u dont like or get inspired by this mans age and dedication as i do, why are u looking at this thread in the first place ??????????????????
01-25-2006, 06:32 PM
Inspired? Certainly. Telling Ageless he got me "hard as hell" like you said? No, that crosses the line of "inspiration" in my book.

Gentlemen...this board, anabolicminds, is a place to learn & share good & bad experiences.
I read and learn on this board more than I post. I find it difficult to express myself on paper. (always careful not to offend)
I think we should be able to take constructive criticism when we post our pictures.
I for one appreciate all the kind words & respect. And I am very thankful for all the advice and helpful tips from the bodybuilding gurus.
Here I go again..rambling on & on and now.....about my shoulders???

I meant no disrespect to you, your achievements, or you physique Ageless. I don't want this thread to turn into a ****-storm or steal your thunder. Just a little weirded out by some "compliments" you got. Other than that, you look great. You're like the buff, scary grandpa I never had.

Your posts have motivated me to get out of a rut that I did not realize I had fallen into. Last year you posted an article, "Male Horemones and aging" which for me was a real eye opener.Originally Posted by AGELESS

dude I will never, ever let myself waste with ageafter looking at what you've accomplished through chemistry and hard work.. I know a guy who is about 55ish who is also on hgh and he also looks absolutley phenominal.. Can't beat that stuff, it is the fountain of youth..

Congrtats on your condition ageless, very lean. I just wondered your waist is a little thick, is that due to HRT, HGH or training? The reason why I ask is because I may end up taking prescribed HRT so Im busy gathering facts and have enjoyed reading your posts and found them v useful.

HGH the cause of my wide waist???...no I dont think I can blame HGH for that (LOL)Originally Posted by woolfy

Now..the real truth ~ I blame it on over the counter drugs. Actually years of everyday abuse.
I retired 1994 and sat around on my boat...and drank and drank. It took a "cycle" of 6 yrs or so to build that gut. (and lots of Captain Morgan)
In 2000 my waist was still 33 as always, had not changed - the bad news I no longer could see my belt buckle, it was hiding under my large AB...time to go back to work. 3 days a week with a trainer for 3 years helped me get started. Now I love going to the gym.
I seem to go from one extreme to another. I dont lift heavy and I take all the time I need (like 3 hours). My old joints and bones are getting tired. Some mornings I hurt all over. On the Captain Morgan cycle I only had a sore head....go figure.
There I go rambin' on and on.....

Don't stop now man.
The more rambling/info the better. We are all were you are now or will be in the future. So ramble away.
