What makes recovery from a prohormone easier than another?

I've been wondering about this recently. Lets take one ph like h-drol for example which people say isn't very suppressive and compare it to another that is known to be suppressive like superdrol (I know they are two entirely different beasts). Now iv'e seen bloodwork 2 weeks in on an hdrol cycle where that persons testosterone is shutdown anywhere from 70-200, and that is where my question begins. 70 is extremely low and what I would consider completely shutdown. So why is it that people say that one prohormone is easier to recover from than another although evidence shows that h-drol is as well very suppressive? Are there other factors that effect recovery besides just the shutdown of natural testosterone?

To answer the title how strongly it binds and interacts to the androgen receptor.

Very good post above! I like that alot. I might have to copy and paste that somewhere. Alright I appreciate the information so far. How does whether a compound is anabolic or androgenic affect receptor binding though? And what receptors do they bind to exactly, is it just the shbg?

Lol yea I over thought that a bit. So the higher androgenic it is the more it will bind or what?
