Slept in yesterday. Long flight and lack of food had me tired and week. Tried benching yesterday...lol

Finally tried the Finaflex Churro, Vanilla, and Chocolate. Love all 3 flavors! Ordered some more on NutraPlanet too!!!

Trying to get everything ready to leave. So much to do, open the pool, do taxes, get a new will, just not enough time, plus have work to do still before I leave...

Today's workout was much better both mentally and physically. Also started back on my Stimul8. Had laid off of it for the past few months. Really hadn't needed it. So legs was on tap for today:

Hack squat

And I called it a sweatfest. Legs all pumped. Left some in the tank on each exercises. And boosted my mental by knowing I didn't lose much over the past months lighter sporadic workouts. Now I just hope there are some good heavy weights at Adak. I was told by one of the guys who was just up there(owns Premiere Seafood that a lot of the smaller db's have been taken but the heavier ones are all still there. And some old equipment and plenty of plates, bars, racks, and benches. So, I'm keeping my fingers crossed...

If it is an old school gym you will have everything you need. If limited on some options we can all come up with plenty variety with only a heavy barbell!

Yep, plus I'm taking my bands. Looking forward to see what I have to work with. Hopefully I can use this remote area as a time for overall improvement. Mentally and physically. No tv and the Internet is still questionable except for work. Can't get a straight answer on what it cost and from whom. Phone service is ATT G2 so no internet on the phone...

I just realized I'm vain. Was trying to imagine myself with normal chest, arms, shoulders, gut.... My god what a nightmare! I woke up in a full sweat and in panic mode... Talk about motivation!

Yes indeed! When people tell me I am a health nut I tell them no as a matter of fact I am just a little vain. The good health benefits are just great side effects. :)

Sitting in ATL right now. Journey starts officially today. Will get to Anchorage late evening, then fly to Adak on Sunday.

This week went by way to quick. Had paperwork to do, conference calls, etc. was up until 11pm doing taxes last night too.

Safe travels Brian! You'll be okay if you don't get to lift until Monday. I am sure once settled in you will end up working out just about any time you are not working or sleeping.

Thanks guys! Got in last night after 15+hrs of travel. Well, made it to Anchorage anyway. Had to pay a $275 fee for my 2 bags being overweight. One weighed in at 73lbs. I did pack 4 tubs of protein powder, some Aminos and Creatine and a few other staples that I can't travel without.
Now I need to pickup some more rain gear and cold weather gear as its still snowing on Adak. Plus go to the meat market and get a cooler packed with some real protein to take on the cargo plane tomorrow. I'm beginning to wonder if I'll make any money on this trip, seems I've been spending a lot just gearing up for it. Of course the company is going to pay the baggage fees(I'll tell them when I submit the expense report...lol). View looking out of the rental car lot here in anchorage:

I shipped 6 tubs up also. I'll be there until October, need my Clear. Is one of the best tasting proteins on the market right now.

I've got it rated .01 higher than PES Select. More servings per tub. On sale price is superb when I bought it Easter weekend at NutraPlanet and flavor is just a hair better in my opinion and the mix ability seems to be spot on. I only use a shaker and none of the others I've used mix like Clear does.

Haven't tried the new Finaflex protein .... sadly I left Finaflex right when it came out .... no more monthly rep packs :(
Gonna have to purchase a tub in the near future to give it a shot. If its anything like all the other Finaflex products I know it will be good stuff!
