I think this contest should bring some sanity back to the situation...
I will start things off:
Suspended Philadelphia Phillies reliever J.C. Romero sues supplement manufacturer - ESPN
"One should consider the source and the fact that the statement fails to address the presence of androstenedione, a controlled substance, in 6-OXO EXTREME," Cornwell wrote in a two-sentence e-mail to the Associated Press. "In my opinion, after injury and age, companies like Proviant may be the next greatest threat to the careers of athletes who use nutritional supplements."
I don't know 100% if this has been confirmed just alleged in this news story. I will do a FOIA request on Proviant and find out if indeed 6-OXO and 6-OXO Extreme was contaminated. Since the company was Chapter 7 a few years back, I doubt I can get a company rep to reply. If an above board company like Proviant who had their own manufacturing and testing facilities could have this happen it's obviously a problem that just happens from time to time.
