You slept through yesterday, didn't you? ;)

Strong, strong rows.

I dunno if we have that machine. I think we have something similar. I'm going to try and get to know the machines this week while I'm reloading.

Another day another gain... Im sure im gaining well usining G8 as my sleep is undisturbed and recovery is up :)

Today was Back and biceps again... My favourite thing to train and i want to bring up my arms and back up this year... So arms are trained 3 imes a week.

Deadlifts-

Was feeling a little off today with strength, so my defecit pulls werent as smooth or as quick as i wanted.. But hey ho, it is what it is.

Bar x10-20
136 x 10-12
225 x 5-6. (I do these as quickly as possible, gets me fired up)
Video- http://instagram.com/p/yB34uaFfmu/?modal=true

315x 2-3 (again quickly as possible, speed pulls)
Video- http://instagram.com/p/yB4DmQFfm2/?modal=true

I noticed my form and strength was way off by this point, but went for working sets of 405 with a 2-3" defecit anyway.
I normally get 5 reps EASY but today i was only pulling 3, in the video I only do 2 as my hand was getting sore (this was the last set)

Video- http://instagram.com/p/yB4OKxFfm-/?modal=true

I feel and see my hips are a little high, going to do a lot of mobility work this week to sort that out. :)

Next was underhand lat pulls-

150x failure, negatives. 4 sets. (min 6-8 reps)

1 arm t-bar rows-

1 plate, this is mainly about reps and pump.. And oh boy does it PUMP my lats! 4 sets.

BB rows-

Trying to perfect form still.

225x 6
245x 10 (3 sets)
Video- http://instagram.com/p/yB4OKxFfm-/?modal=true

Then i though F~ck it... Lets go for 290lb for 5... See how bad my form can be haha :)

Video- http://instagram.com/p/yB4rnpFfnY/?modal=true

Form definatley off but not horendous compared to others.

DB Rows-

110x failure (around 8-10 reps) 4 sets

Biceps-

Seated alternating DB curls-

40 x failure (min 8 each arm) 5 sets

Standing hammer curls-

45x failure (min 8 each arm) 4 sets

'Fat' grip bar-

65x failure (min 9-10 reps)

Preacher curls-

60x failure, when i fail i then get someone to help me pump out 5 more just for the burn :) 3 sets.

Thats it for today, going to try and get some footage tomorrow of me using my slingshot for bench as im not going heavy... 135-180 max. for reps of 10-15.

Form didn't look bad. Back didn't round out. At first I thought the first reps hips shot up fast, but maybe not so fast after watching a few time.

Impressive you're doing that weight for doubles WITHOUT a belt.

Thanks man. It's annoying as I can normally pull that for 5 easily! Oh I never use a belt, only on the odd occasion for a max.

Today was an early session... In the gym for 5.30am as I trained with my brother.

Woke up at 5 feeling AMAZING today. G8 really did its magic :)

Sorry to disappoint but no videos today.

It was a circuit type workout, I'm not a fan of these but oh well I thought 'let's give it a go'.

Everything was superseded with each other.

Power clean, into a squat-
Set 1: 12-15 reps
Set 2: 10-12 reps
Set 3: 8-10 reps

All kept at the same weight, I was using 90lb as my shoulder isn't 100%.

After each set it was straight into-

Incline DB press-
Set 1: 12-15 reps
Set 2: 10-12 reps
Set 3: 8-10 reps

Then we moved onto-

Push press-
Set 1: 12-15 reps
Set 2: 10-12 reps
Set 3: 8-10 reps

Again, after each set was then into:

Lat pull downs-
Set 1: 12-15 reps
Set 2: 10-12 reps
Set 3: 8-10 reps

And finally it was:

Bicep BB curls:
Set 1: 12-15 reps
Set 2: 10-12 reps
Set 3: 8-10 reps

Into

Tricep dips on a bench-
Set 1: 12-15 reps
Set 2: 10-12 reps
Set 3: 8-10 reps

And finally

BB rows led on an incline bench-
Set 1: 12-15 reps
Set 2: 10-12 reps
Set 3: 8-10 reps

I was actually quite surprised how tired I felt after that lol... Lots of cardio.

So 18 sets total and a sh*t ton of reps haha.

Yeah too much HIIT for me.

I live in the UK and nearly all supermarkets sell them, they are made by snack-a-jacks. Do you have that brand?

9 Hours of sleep last night!! Felt amazing when i woke up, ready to hit some legs :)

Got a few clips today and a pic of the quad pump..

Squats-
Bar x10

135 x 6-8 (3 sets)
Video: http://instagram.com/p/yG_sGDlfve/?modal=true

225x 5 (4 sets) These were slow explosions, not designed to be fast as I'm causing time under tension.
Video- http://instagram.com/p/yG_PYalfvN/?modal=true

315x 5 (3 sets) These were 2 second pauses and exploding up, didn't get a video of this but the one from last week on my IG was basically the same.

Close stance Leg press-

4 sets:
Full stack, not sure of weight.. over 300lb's though, going till failure.. Putting all tension on outer quads to build that wide leg look.
video- http://instagram.com/p/yG_ZkWFfvU/?modal=true

Lying Hamstring curls-

110x failure (4 sets)

Sissy squat machine-

BW + holding a 25b medicine ball x failure, then drop the ball and keep going... Sweet JESUS these pumped my quads!!

PIC after those:

Screen Shot 2015-01-21 at 20.00.03.png

After that i worked on some SLDL's-

135 x 10 explosive
225 x 6 explosive
315 x3-5 explosive

Thats it for today.

No waking up, No disturbed sleep at all, means only 1 thing... G8 is working as usual :)

I can tell you one thing with G8, the entire time ive been using it, my mood is definitely better overall, feel happier and more motivated to do stuff.

Today was back and biceps again:

Neutral grip pull-ups:

BW x10
BW + 25lb plate xfailure (min 6 reps)4 sets

Ive started adding this in because pull-ups are such a great exercise overall and they have been said to improve arm size greatly... And that's a goal this year :)

Seated rows w a rope-

This is new and exciting :)

Just a standard rope that you use for tricep pulldowns etc.

150x failure (min 10 reps) 4 sets

T-bar rows-

2 plates x 10
3 plates x10
4 plates x8
5 plates x6
6 plates x5... This was DAMN heavy! haha
Just 1 giant set.

BB rows on incline bench (chest against back support)-
This is new to my routine as well, I like this a lot... Stops any body sway and really contracts well.

135x failure (min 8 reps) x4 sets

Biceps-

Standing hammer curls-

45 x failure (min 8 reps per arm) x4 sets

Seated alternating curls-

35x failure (min 10 reps) 5 sets
Video- http://instagram.com/p/yJk8sHlfry/?modal=true

Standing BB curls-

65 x failure (min 10-12 reps) 4 sets.

That's it for today. Sorry about the vest in the video, I only own 3 haha so a bit repetitive... Need some more but cant bring myself to buy any haha.

25x failure (12-20 reps) 4 sets

Weighted dips-

110x failure (min 12-25 reps) 6 sets

That was it for Friday.

Saturday-

Biceps & medial delts-

Barbell curls-

65x failure (min 10 reps) 6 sets
Video on my IG, cont post links on app.

Standing hammer curls-

45x failure (min 8 each arm) 4 sets

Seated alt DB curls-

40x failure (min 10 each arm) 4 sets

Spider curls-

65x failure (min 8 reps) 4 sets

Side lateral raises-

18x failure (min 12-15 reps) 7 sets

So that's Saturday :)

Both days I felt great using G8 as always, I expect nothing less, I was never sure about sleep aids until this point... So when I got the tub from FINAFLEX I was excited to try it out! I'm never going back to sleep without it!!!

I didn't take it last night as I had a few beers, I woke up at least 3 times I the night. I hate not taking it.

Sorry for the delay in updates.

Think I've only got a couple days left of the G8 now :(

Oh... Arm pump from Saturday ;)

I can be super tired and there's something about having beers that keeps me up too (not just to pee).

Where is your grip placement on CG? I've been keeping mine wayyyyyy inside, but I see on IG that a lot of people are barely inside their normal bench.

So today was Monday which means back and biceps :)

Took G8 as per usual, slept through of course :)

Paused deadlifts-

If you have never tried these... Do so, they are intense! Normally I work with 315 but I though fu*k it today and went all the way to 405 for a triple.

Bar x10
135 x 6
225 x 3
316 x6 (2 sets)
405 x3 (2 sets)

Video is on my IG (on phone app again)
Form is quite poor on 405 but I've never gone that heavy so was new.

Close grip pull downs-

155x failure (min 10 reps) 4 sets

Wide grip pull downs-

155x failure (min 8-10 reps) 3 sets

Plate loaded t-bar rows-

4 plates, 3 plates, 2 plates, 1 plate... Drop set, 3 sets. The pump was crazy!

Seated rows (close grip) sat on a DB-

Drop set-

225,180,135,90,45.. 3 sets, I have never felt a pump like this before! All slow and controlled with no swaying etc.

Biceps-

Drop set again-

55,45,35,25,10.. 3 sets, felt crazy good :)

And final set was

55x fsilure, just keep pushing and pushing including swaying, then into the same with 25.

So overall it was quite a quick workout and a lot of drop sets and volume. Really enjoyed it.

Also I've dropped my scoops from 1 to 1/2 so I can get a few more days out of it :) :)

Thanks man, yeah people are always surprised I don't use belts at all, the odd occasion I might use it for a max. But rarely.

So G8 worked its magic as always :)
I used a new pre-workout today (sample) as im awaiting an order for a fres tub of something special ;)
It was .50cal by grenade... Was actually quite impressed by this.

Anyway... Leg day!!

Squats-

bar x10
135 x 8
225 x 6
315 x 2 (2 sets)
355 x 2 (2 sets) This felt actually quite heavy, the cutting is impacting strength on squats a little now.

SLDL's
135 x 12
225 x10 (2 sets)
265 x 6 (3 sets)

315 is easily on the cards with perfect form next week :)

Sissy squats with 25lb medicine ball-

BW + 25lb x failure, drop the ball and keep going. 4 sets... Sweet jesus the pump was insane!

Lying ham curls-

110x failure, then drop to 55x failure... 4 sets. No breaks, all out pain lol

Front squats-

Don't like how these feel but im determined to start doing them religiously and I want to hit a 315lb by the end of the year.

90x 6-8, just feeling the movement and adjusting my posture etc. If I wanted to I could definatley hit a 225, but im not confident with stance etc.

Close stance leg press-

Full stack, 380-405lb for failure, then after failure drop it down to a lower weight, then drop again and again. Felt sick after these sets. 3 sets total.

So that's leg day, tomorrow is the most BRO day possible... arms haha.

Arm day today.. Haven't had one in a while so took advantage of the pump... My arm was nearly 3/4" bigger... Why can it grow that fast haha.

As for G8 you know the score... Always puts me out and keeps me out for all my sleep :)

Triceps-

CGBP-
Felt like going heavy today, made sure my shoulder was okay though.

Bar x10
135 x8
180 x6
225 x4 (my shoulder felt great :) )
Then a drop set.

180 x failure, 135 x failure, 90 x failure, 45 x failure.

My tris were on fire after that!

Tricep pull downs-

100x failure, strict form no swaying. Slightly leant forward to take the abs and shoulders out of the movement.

Tricep extension with DB's... That movement I posted about a while ago, you start on your chest and extend elbows up straight.

Mike O Hearn does them.

Lying bicep cable curls-

70x failure, (min 8 reps) 4 sets... Crazy pump doing these.

BB curls-

70x failure (min 8 reps) 4 sets

Seated DB alternating curls-

35x failure (min 10 reps each arm) 4 sets

Standing hammer curls-

45x failure (min 8 reps) 4 sets

That's it for arms.

Back day tomorrow.

Really appreciate that man. Thanks!!! I honestly thought there was no change. I want them cold 17" by the end of the year... Training them 3x a week seems to clearly be doing something, Im not even bulking either yet.

So another day... Another gain, Took G8 as usual, got myself 7.5 hours of sleep so thats good.

Back only today-

BB Rows-
Bar x12
135 x10
225 x10 (4 sets)
265x 6 (1 sets)

T-bar rows-

2 plates x 15-20
3 plates x 10
4 plates x 10 (3 sets)
4 plates + 25lb x 7 (1 set)

DB Rows-

The gym I went to today only goes up to 70lb DB's (not my normal gym)

70x failure (something stupid like 20 reps each side) 4 sets

Underhand Lat Pulldowns-

150x failure 9min 8-10 reps) 4 sets

Wide grip pulldowns (drop set)-

150x failure, 110x failure, 70x failure. (3 sets)

Back extension machine-

225 x failure (min 10 reps) 4 sets

Incline BB rows (led on a bench, chest of the back pad)-

135x failure (min 12 reps) 4 sets.

So that concludes today, think about training arms again tomorrow and maybe some chest & calves to go with it.

Took G8, was out about 10mins later once I turned the lights off, got undressed etc.

Out for a solid 8 hours as usual, I really enjoy drinking this stuff, the taste is great and the mixability is even better. Never get bored of this stuff. I don't know how im going to cope when im out of this :(

Anyway on with the workout...

Today was arms:

CGBP-

bar x 12-15
135x 10
225x 3x3 (really trying to bring my tricep mass and strength up)
135x failure. Hit 15reps total

Seated plate loaded dips:

2x 35lb plates each side (150lb total + weight of the bar)- x failure (min 12-15 reps, 2sec up/2 sec down.)

Smith machine Skull crushers-

This is a new one for me and I really liked it! Kept a lot of tension on the tri's.

75x failure (min 12 reps) 3 sets

Tricep extensions from the chest-

35 each arm x failure (min 8-10 reps)

Tricep rope pulldowns-

Cant remember the weight I did but I went to failure and it burnt like a mother!

Just so you know, by this point my arms had the most INSANE pump!

Standing Bicep hammer curls-

45lb each arm xfailure (min 12 reps each) 4 sets

Standing BB curls-

70x failure, controlled and strict form (stood against wall) 4 sets

Fat grip bar curls-

70x failure, designed to blast forearms and biceps... love this exercise. 4 sets

And that concludes arms. My headphones broke halfway through my workout so that was annoying.

Not sure if im going to do a workout tomorrow, undecided. But will report back when I do.

Well sadly after tonight that's it for G8 :(

But let me tell you about last nights sleep.

Amazing as always, cannot fault this product one tiny bit. Solid and uninterrupted sleep every single time I take it. I never thought I would ever rely on a sleep aid until now!

Full review tomorrow :)

Well I decided to have a late back session, focussing on 90% max deads. (11pm)

Back-

Deads

Bar x10
135 x8
225 x6
315 x2
405 X1
500 X1

510x 1 (2 sets) this is a PR FOR ME AT MY CURRENT BW. I'm currently sat at 189lb.

My all time best pull was 530 at just over 200lb so I'm super happy with tonight's pull.

T-bar rows-

4 plates xfailure (min 8 reps) 4 sets

Underhand lay pulldowns-

150x failure (min 8-10) negatives. 3 sets

Wide grip pulldowns-

150x failure (4 sets)

Seated rows-

Stack x failure (not sure if weight, estimate 280lb) 4 sets

Back extensions-

Stack (265lb) x failure. Min 8-10 reps. 4 sets

DB rows-

70lb + 25lb on top (stacked)- xfailure.

That was it, quick 45min session.

Full review tomorrow with my final thoughts! :)

Well well well... The time has come for my final verdict on Finaflex G8.

Just want to say a HUGE thanks to FINAFLEX for letting me log this product, really appreciate the opportunity to help out others.

This has been an amazing product through and through, first lets compare my original ratings to my current ones now i've finished it.

Old, New

Taste- 4/5 5/5

This is where FINAFLEX shines hugely... I've only had 2 of their products so far but I am extremely impressed with both.
I actually experimented with this one night and put it with zero calorie Lemonade... Tasted incredible, made it super nice to drink. (not that it wasn't already).

It got to the point where I actually got excited to go to bed so I could drink this again, you really nailed that ICY Lemon flavour!!

Mix- 5/5

This didn't need to change, just put it in shaker bottle, few flicks of the wrist and its completely mixed 100%, no lumps, clumps or residue at the bottom. Amazing work.

Effects- 5/5

Well looks like we are finally at the part everyone wants to read about. Did it work?
One thing I can tell you is that I now am not sure if i can live without a sleep aid whatsoever, the odd occasion I didn't take it due to illness or maybe a little alcohol ;) I would wake up at least 2-3 times and my sleep was always disturbed, not o mention quite often a sore back (muscular).

But when I take this amazing product, I have beautiful, well rested, undisturbed & solid sleep... GUARANTEED!!! Whether that 4-6-8 hours. I was always skeptical about product that supposedly increase recovery as I should be taking enough micro and macro nutrient in during the day to allow me to grow and recover naturally. To my surprise after taking this for only a few days! I straight away noticed a HUGE improvement in recovery and energy, not to mention feeling a lot better throughout the day (mood wise) and I can happily and honestly say that is down to G8.

When this was being used alongside their BCAA formula the recovery was even greater, I was never ever sore for more than 1 day on LEGS!

I think I have rambled on enough now about this product, you all get the idea.

Cliffs:

Would I recommend this to someone else?

Without a shadow of a doubt 100%

Would I buy this product again?

Definatley, Its fantastic and does exactly what is says on the label.

Did this product actually have any flaws at all?

From my time using this product at 1/2 a scoop, to sometimes a whole scoop... No, this product has 0 flaws or issues.

Think that covers it? Any questions feel free to ask.

Id like to thank FINAFLEX once again for letting me log this product, I have had a fantastic time doing so and thanks especially to RegisterJr for following along my journey the whole time! :)

Id like to thank FINAFLEX once again for letting me log this product, I have had a fantastic time doing so and thanks especially to RegisterJr for following along my journey the whole time! :)

You make following easy and fun. Thank you for taking the time to log and review for us, and going beyond the required time as well.

Would you also mind posting a copy of that review here?
