Searching for Info

I'm a complete newbie so bear with me. I'm looking for one thread that would provide me with as much beginner info about steroids as possible. I'm starting to think you have to be a chemist to understand this stuff and I'm becoming overwhelmed with all the different types of steroids and different stacks to take. If I knew a little more about how the body reacts to different chemicals then maybe I wouldn't be so confused. Is there a thread that kind of explains all this? Any help would be appreciated.
