PCT Day 15

Weight: 172.5 (+7.5)

I've started my 3rd week of PCT, and things continue to go great. The main thing that has surprised me those most is my composition. I have done almost zero cardio lately, and what I normally have as burn days have turned into more of a maintenance day with an increase in cals overall. Despite that, I think I'm actually LEANING!! I look super dry and ripped right now, and even more than before which makes no sense to me with the calorie increase. I'm thinking that the FormaSurge might be helping with this. It has definitely got me to this point of being dry, and even after eating a whole lot of carbs in a day I can't seem to get one little bit of bloat afterwards. I did check my bodyfat again, and I keep coming up with about 5.5%!! That is the lowest reading I've ever recorded, and I came up with it several times of measuring, so that shocked the hell out of me. I know that the fact that I'm holding very very little water at all in my skin might be making that bodyfat number appear better than actual, but it is very nice to see right now!

Size is staying constant as well. My overall weight may have dropped just a tad more, but as I said, I'm drying even more and my readings say I'm leaner. I think my next set of pics should show that I'm holding all my size, just with more definition unless something changes between now and then, which I don't really see happening.

My performance and strength amaze me every time I set foot in the gym. I'm not only maintaining all of my strength from the cycle, but I'm progressing still a little each workout adding a rep or two, and even adding weight to some exercises! Mostly though, I've been trying to just keep the same weight over the last 2 weeks and only adding reps mostly, but that is all going to change starting next week! That's right! Going into my 3rd week of PCT, I will be ADDING WEIGHT TO MY LIFTS!!! It won't be every lift, but I will ry to progress in weight on all the exercises that I've added enough reps to lately to justify the increase....which is a whole lot of them! :D

DC workout 2C (Biceps, Forearms, Calves, Hamstrings, Quads)

EZ Bar Preacher Curls (rest, pause)
120x9x4x3 (+2 reps)

Single reverse cable curls (straight set)
62.5x12 (+1 rep)

Leg press Toe Raise (straight set with enhanced negative)
300x10 (+10 lbs)

Sumo Leg Press (rest, pause)
520x10x5x4 (+20 lbs)

Leg Press (straight sets)
630x10 (+20 lbs)
570x20 (+20 lbs widowmaker)

5.5%?! That's fckin awesome!

Yeh, I can't complain though I have softened up some from the weekend. I ate pretty freely and I'm retaining a little bit of water right now, but it's back to business this week, so I'm sure I will be back to being dry and ripped on FormaSurge very soon!

SUB'd, in for the knowledge, looking good Rick... No Homo!
Thanks man! Welcome!

Yeh, I'm thinking DC is perfect for PCT, which even more solidifies my happiness with using it as my training. I don't plan to go to anything different for now until I see a legit reason to.

5.5%???? You son of a beach!!! That's insane!!
Yeh bro, I cant complain! I gained about 2-3 lbs of water weight over the holiday weekend from eating pretty freely, but I should level back out soon.

Nice workout rick, btw do you apply the xtreme stretching in dc?
Absolutely! If you aren't doing the extreme stretches, then you aren't doing DC. That's a major part of the protocol, and your results will not be the same without it!

So with the extreme stretching you just do them after every exercise? Like chest, stretch, shoulders, stretch, triceps, stretch etc? Or do you do all your stretching after you finish all your lifts or what? Thanks

Yep....I do the stretches immediately following the exercise except for back width exercises and biceps. I wait to do the back stretch until after both back width and back thickness are done. Then I don't do my bicep stretch until after the forearm exercises are done because of the work the biceps get on those.

PCT Day 18

Weight:175.5 (+10.5)

After a holiday weekend of some pretty loose eating, I did manage to put on a little bit of weight. There is good and bad in it. The good is that I filled out some more and look pretty big from it. The bad is obviously that I am holding some water under my skin blurring out some definition. My diet is back to normal today though, and with the help of the FormaSurge I'm sure I will be back to ripped status in no time!

My libido seems to be down just a hair lately from where it was at the very high level. It is still good, but just not as good.

I decided to try another workout today without increasing weight, even though I probably should have after looking back on it. I still progressed a rep or two on most exercises with a couple exceptions. DB shoulder presses started out great, with me getting an extra rep on my second rest pause set, then when ging into the third I just ran out of gas and couldn't get a rep up on them. I had that problem last week with standing overhead presses too, so I need to keep that in mind and "pace" myself through the movement so I can complete the last set. My Tbar rows were stagnant too. I was able to match previous numbers, but not get any extra reps.

I am going to try and add weight to my lifts on as many exercises as I can from here forward, on the exercises that are ready for the weight increase.

DC workout 1A (Chest, Triceps, Shoulders, Back Width, Back Thickness)

Hammer Strength Chest Press (rest, pause)
340x11x6x1 (+1 rep)

DB Shoulder Press (rest, pause)
85sx12x5xfail (-1 rep)

Close grip smith Bench press (rest, pause)
210x11x4x3 (+3 reps)

Chins (rest, pause)
BW+60x9x4x3 (+1 rep)

Tbar rows (straight sets)
235x10 (+0 reps)
250x4 (+0 reps)

Yeh I'm aware of that Ostarine can marginally suppress you over time, but it is very minimal at best and I've seen blood work that shows that it doesn't too. Regardless, I don't know if the Ostarine causing a drop in libido or not. I almost always have a slight drop in libido in PCT like I'm experiencing now, so it is normal for me. I always run Ostarine in PCT too, so I guess it's a possibility.

PCT Day 20

Weight: 174 (+9)

Everything is still going very well overall. My body composition is holding up as well as it has been, and my gym performance and strength is holding pretty steady. My body feels very good right now and I've had no joint pain or discomfort at all. The only side effect I can think of that I'm experiencing is a little bit of a drop in libido. I'm not exactly sure what is causing that, but it's been pretty typical of me and happening through PCT in the past, so I'm not surprised about that. I wouldn't say my libido is low at all, but I would say its lower than normal.

Formasurge is still going great and doing everything I had hoped it would and more. The awesome sprayer has stayed great and working well all the way to this point with no problems at all. I have felt great in the gym and strength is the best it's ever been. My body composition has looked great, and I've stayed ripped despite taking in extra cals. FormaSurge has impressed me to say the least!

My workout went pretty good. I managed to add a little weight on some exercises, added some reps on others, but stayed stagnant on Squats. Those just felt really really heavy for some reason. I got through them with the same number of reps, but I really had to push to get it.

DC Workout 2A (Biceps, Forearms, Calves, Hamstrings, Quads)

Alternate DB Curls (rest, pause)
60sx10x6x5 (+1 rep)

DB hammer curls (straight set)
70sx9 (+10 lbs/DB 20 lbs total)

Seated calf Raises (straight set with enhanced negative)
155x8 (+5 lbs)

Leg curls (rest, pause)
205x12x5x5 (+5 lbs)

Squats (straight sets)
315x10 (+0 reps)
245x20 (+0 reps)

PCT Day 23

Weight 172 (+7)

I'm going into my last week of PCT, and I'm starting to think that Im just about recovered based on how im feeling, and I'm also starting to be.ieve I'm just about out of the woods on maintain my mass and strength. I know I really need to continue to try and stay the course through the last week of PCT and beyond until I get fully recovered, but I think the worst part of recovering is behind me. Lucky for me, everything has been pretty smooth to this point which is now 5 weeks after my last pin. This has definitely been my best PCT yet by far.

My weight is consistently fluctuating between 172-174 on average depending on whether it is following a higher carb day or lower carb or burn day so it's holding pretty steady. I had one morning at 171ish but I was pretty dehydrated at that point also. If I was to bet, I would almost say I'm still leaning. Vascularity has increased, and so has hardness. Body composition in general looks very good right now despite less cardio and some more cals. I think the Ostarine has kicked in fully, and coupled with the FormaSurge has me looking pretty good! :)

On a positive note, my libido has climbed back up again. It's still not like the crazy over the top stuff I had on cycle, but slightly higher than normal right now. As for other side effects, for some reason I've had some huge acne popping up on my face. It's a little strange to me, because I've never had this problem in PCT before, and I'm not sure what is causing it. My guess is that it's just from all the hormonal changes of my body trying to reach homeostasis, but that's just a guess.

Here is my last workout from Friday, which shows that I am still getting stronger through this PCT. I added weight to every exercise and it worked very well. The only exercise that was questionable on the weight increase was skullcrushers. I added 5 lbs and it felt like 20. I battled through them and only got 10 reps total through the rest, pause set which is a couple less than I was hoping for. For triceps a 5 lb increase feels damn heavy!

DC Workout 1B (chest, shoulders, triceps, Back width, back thickness)

Smith Incline press (rest, pause)
225x8x4x2 (+5 lbs)

Smith military press (rest, pause)
205x9x3x2 (+5 lbs)

Skullcrushers (rest, pause)
130x7x2x1 (+5 lbs)

Close grip lat pull downs (rest, pause)
260x9x4x2 (+10 lbs)

Single arm DB rows (straight sets)
135x10x8 (+5 lbs)

I really, really want to get my hands on FormaSurge but we give it all to you customers and I am last in line; next time I will get some I hope when it is in stock. So far Formeron that I have from the before FormaSurge days is treating me well enough, this Elite Labs Ostanish is the shiznit though. Never again will I drink the disgusting thing that is liquid Osta!

PCT Day 25

Weight: 174 (+9)

I'm down to about 5 days left on this PCT, so things are winding down. I've maintained everything well, so I am pretty happy that I have the worst part over with, and can just concentrate on trying to add on more mass and strength slowly over the next 3 months or so before I start my next big run! :sgrin:

My body composition looks the same, which is a huge positive IMO. I actually figured if I would be able to hold this size, that I would at least put on a little bodyfat, but it appears that I haven't. When I do my final pics I will also get a bodyfat measurement with calipers to verify where I'm at, but if it has changed it hasn't changed much if any at all. I really thnk having FormaSurge and Ostarine in my PCT has helped this and kept me just as lean, even though I've been eating enough to add some.

My workout went a lot better than I expected it to. I got a phone call at 2:30 AM and it was work with a bunch of problems, so I had to go in VERY early and skip my normal morning workout. I had to wait until after work and do my workout riding on about 3-4 hours of sleep. It was also right in the middle of my feeding window and not the normal fasted training I'm used to. There was positives to this though. I almost forgot how nice it was, and how big your pumps could get from having a good amount of preworkout carbs in you, and I think that helped my energy levels too. The result was me adding either weight or reps to every exercise except BB Curls but I did match previous numbers on them. All in all, it was a great workout!

DC Workout 2B (Biceps, Forearms, Calves, Hamstrings, Quads)

BB Curls (rest, pause)
125x7x4x3 (+0 reps)

Pinwheel Curls (straight set)
70sx12 (+1 rep)

Standing calf raise (straight set)
240x12 (+10 lbs)

Lying Leg Curls (rest, pause)
110x9x4x3 (+10 lbs per leg, 20 lbs total)

Hack Squats (straight sets)
480x10 (+10 lbs)
430x20 (+10 lbs widowmaker)

Bodyfat will be measured, and the final pics will be taken hopefully this weekend. :fingersx:

The FormaSurge has definitely treated me well, no doubt. It has done everything promised, and more. It has kept me dry and lean while assisting recovery with an overall caloric surplus. I have also felt great on it, and my performance in the gym has INCREASED during PCT. All of those things equal a big win in my book for FormaSurge!

PCT Day 27

Weight: 174 (+9)

My last couple workouts of this PCT are getting put into the books, and everything is still going great. I had a very very rough day at work the day before this workout, and woke up before hitting the gym feeling like I had been in an MMA fight. I have a pretty physical job, and that last day was one of the worst. I burned a ton of cals and spent a lot of energy fatiguing myself at work, and my body felt it. I really expected to have a very poor performance in the gym, but I actually held up much better than I thought I would. I matched previous numbers on DB flat bench, and added 10 lbs of weight to lat pull downs and triceps exercises. My standing overhead press started out good on the first set, but the next one I failed, so I was forced to drop the weight a little and completed the rest, pause set with a good amount of reps with 15 lbs less. My lower back was pretty spent too and I really didn't want to make it worse with heavy deads, so I stuck to a couple sets of 225 just to get the work in without pushing it.

I have one more workout, then I will get some pics and final bodyfat measurements soon....probably this weekend!

DC Workout 1C (Chest, Shoulders, Triceps, Back Width, Back Thickness)

DB Bench Press (rest, pause)
110sx11x5x3 (same)

Standing overhead BB Shoulder press (rest, pause)
170x9 ,155x6x4

Triceps Machine (rest, pause)
240x8x4x3 (+ 10 lbs)

Front lat pull downs (rest, pause)
260x8x4x3 (+10 lbs)

Deadlifts (straight sets)
225x8x7

PCT Day 30

Weight: 173.5 (+8.5)

Well, today is the last day of my PCT, and last day of my log here with FormaSurge. Everything that I was hoping to get from FormaSurge, I got, and also ended up with much much more!

This was the best PCT I have had to date, and I think FormaSurge had a big hand in those results. I not only maintained all of my strength from my cycle, but actually made some more strength gains as well while recovering. I added a good amount of cals and carbs in PCT, but managed to gain only a marginal amount of bodyfat in a month with the help of FormaSurge. It has kept me dry and lean throughout this entire PCT!!

Here is everything by the numbers...

Cycle starting weight: 165
Cycle ending weight: 177.5 (+12.5)
PCT ending weight: 173.5 (+8.5)

Cycle starting bodyfat: 6.5%
Cycle ending bodyfat: 5.7% (-.8%)
PCT ending bodyfat: 6.1% (-.4%)

As you can see, I only dropped 4 lbs in PCT, and the fact that i maintained and even gained strength tells me that the weight I lost was just glycogen and water returning to normal post cycle.

Then when you look at the fact that I only gained 0.4% bodyfat in PCT with the calorie increase...it makes the results look even better!

All of these things tell the same story. Pictures are worth a thousand words, and the numbers don't lie. FormaSurge was an excellent addition to my PCT, and should be a good consideration for anyone to use to help you while recovering!!

Its been a pleasure logging FormaSurge, and I would like to thank BPS for the oppurtunity to try out this great product! Also a big thanks to everyone that followed!

Thanks guys! I really appreciate the kind words! As for logs, I'm taking a big break from doing any for a while. I've been pretty much logging nonstop for over 6 months now, so I think I'm due...lol

Hey Rick, are you still doing the 12 hour fast on workout days using a post workout shake after you lift?

No, I did that 12 hour fast only for the first 6 weeks of my cycle when I was concentrating on size gains. After that I returned to the normal 16/8 protocol and have been doing that ever since. It worked pretty good though, and I may return to doing that soon. I will at the least be implementing it when I start my next cycle ;)

Excellent Log and review Rick. Sorry I was not in it as much as i would have preferred. I think this is probably my first post. As with all of your logs the conversation was great and plentiful so not being on everyday made it hard to get caught up enough to make a contribution in my limited time. I just finished reading it and am as always proud that we were able to get you to log the product and appreciate your feedback.
