Yeah and it was after pulling some heavy weight... I think I was good for about 20 more lbs today and maybe a little bit more when I'm fresh. I'm going to hopefully start moving my raw squat up into the mid 400's here soon.

Sucky Bench Day

Going into the gym I felt empty... Needed to get some more carbs in but I just didn't have the time or resources at work today.

My lower back and legs are extremely sore from my workout yesterday. Ideally I would have taken tonight off and do this workout tomorrow night but some times life intervenes and you have to make things work.

225 x8 (here I thought to myself... this is going well... feeling strong.... didn't last long though)

My bench technique felt off all night... My lower back soreness hindered my bench tonight. There's always next week.

Just doing my thing. Working, working out. Diet has gone to hell but winter's coming so it's all gravy. Still able to hit my marks on pullups so I can't complain.

Life got in the way of my training session tonight. Back day was pushed until tomorrow. All is well. Just have to make up for that extra rest day with some heavy barbell rows.

Skwatz baby! Good luck on that house man. Figure out what you think you can afford per month then knock 10% off of that for you payment cap. Things will come up, maintenance is high, and taxes WILL increase. Also make sure to get a HomeOwners Warranty when they start coming in before you have to have an inspection of everything that way if something craters like a water heater or AC is it only a $75 hit instead of $2500.

No but there was about 30g of protein in it.

I think next week I'm going to do some reps at 405 with knee wraps and see if i can't get a few more reps.

Thanks man. Yeah a few cups of some kashi cereal and almond milk.


I wanted to try to grind out one more but there were no suitable spotters in the gym

I'm so proud :006:. I had no idea Kashi had that much protein. Here I was about to give you crap. Very happy to hear you are on almond milk now.

Ive been drinking almond milk for a few years now. Regular milk doesn't sit well with me. I dont normally eat kashi tho. I was just out of other options

I must be living in an alternate universe where I remember you telling me for years that you loved milk and drank it often with meals. Maybe I'm thinking of your ice cream protein shakes lol.

Regular milk is nasssty stuff. So much crap/blood/guts in milk. As someone who has issues with gluten, milk products don't work well for me. Greek Yogurt is the only thing I can really handle and even that is eaten in moderation.

Regular milk is nasssty stuff. So much crap/blood/guts in milk. As someone who has issues with gluten, milk products don't work well for me. Greek Yogurt is the only thing I can really handle and even that is eaten in moderation.
Way back at the beginning i used to drink chocolate milk like a mofo. Those days are long passed.
