Yeah...seems like it - hammered out today's workout with time to spare - aggression was there, had plenty of gas in the tank, and beat my goals for the day all the hell. Last DL session had 4 sets at 300 and only one with 4 reps... My grip is really the weak point here.

I read about the dpol OJ combo in another thread - its pretty tasty I gotta say

Mixed it up today & hit some decline & weighted chins. Went out last night to play some music, ended up kicking back a couple Guiness (helped a buddy move & he payed me back in beer). So my diets a little off so far this week..... I'll just say I'm getting my last cheats in, as I'm gonna wreck some sh!t from now until my vacation (end of March). My goal for 2013 is to put all 3 of big lifts to or over 300lbs - so far DL is there, I hit decline for 250x3 today (I think my logs show 245 on flat bench around xmas), my last box squat PR was 265x3 - I think I'm on the right track to get there this year. 50 lbs on flat bench may be tough, but I'm sure refining my technique will be a huge benefit. I've been spending some time recently with my squat & DL techniques & it's been paying off with a bunch of new PRs - if I can get anything like that out of it, I'll be a-ok

dpol's rocking - I wasn't really feeling getting out of bed today, but just the thought of lifting magically got me moving. Libido is still going up as well. My beard always seems to catch a little growth spurt when I take DAA & this time is no different. No DAA related GI issues - that a huge plus for dpol

Question: My upcoming natty stack is this: 8-weeks ABE, EP, DPOL, Forskolin95 (weeks 9-12), thinking of throwing that Vanillean/Alphamine combo on NP in there as well.

Is Supp-D & Swoll-N nitrate overkill with the dpol?

I don't think so...
I've ran pump products with d-pol before...
Just watch your number of nitrates, because the pre could have it, the d-pol had it, and the other pump product could as well.
I think you'll be good though.

Hit some light shoulder work again this morning (from http://www.t-nation.com/free_online_article/sports_body_training_performance/8_weeks_to_monster_shoulders) - my shoulders definitely appreciate the TLC here. I'll be keeping this lighter work up for a couple weeks, then transition into heavier shoulder days. Just making sure I keep my foundation solid. These YTWLs kick my @ss something fierce, but they definitely work.

Todays plan was to run through 3 sets - I was able to add reps, along with another entire set, and still made it inside my training time window (1hr). Feeling a little sluggish today & yesterday. Hopefully it's a passing thing, but my wife seems to be coming down with a nasty cold...upping my vitamins & fluids in defense.

Nothing really to report, effect wise with dpol today. I'm really enjoying the custard flavor - I've been mixing it with my PWO the past couple days. It doesn't overload my taste buds with random chemical-fruit flavors.

Well, here's a bit of TMI.... Every time I've taken a test booster, I get what I've dubbed 'phantom pains' with the boys, located directly around the work done for my vasectomy. Doesn't really bother me, just something I notice, kind of a slight pain/burn sensation - figure that its just a sign that there's something getting to work...

That's a good feeling. Can be hard to get your significant other into that stuff, hard habit to break that weights are for men only and make you "bulky"

Definitely a good feeling! Except she's got the full blown.flu now amd.wont be doing much anything for a few days.

A big benefit for me is that its got me going back and reviewing my form on everything so I teach her the correct way.

Killed some front squats today for some new PRs – my legs were smoked by the time I got to the Box squats. Calf raises were a bit lighter than the previous week, as I’ve been really trying to focus on a full ROM & really feeling thru the motion, burn ‘em up. I really hope I’m not getting sick – the wife’s still under the weather pretty far, I’m trying to maintain – my head’s been really weird today, just slamming fluids & vitamins, trying to stay fed & rested.

I’ve said it already, but I really like the custard flavor of Dpol. I’ve been mixing it with my PWO – the flavor mixes well, not too overpowering. I feel like my strength is up, getting some new PRs here & there. Libido has been hit or miss (this is partyl why I’m wondering if I’m getting sick too). The mirror is showing some leaning, but the scale isn’t doing much more than its usual couple lbs fluctuation.

I knew I was forgetting something in this log – music!

Weekend updates:


Strength is still on the way up, it would seem - More PRs on Incline Bench & BB Row (rev grip). Recovery has been keeping pace as well. My shoulder doesn't like incline bench as much, so I've got to pay extra attention to setup for it. The shoulder rehab day does seem to be helping - I was sore & achy on the first couple incline sets, but surprised myself by nailing both new PRs. I'm definitely fighting off a small cold or something (wife's still coughing her head off), but I haven't been too bad overall. The pumps on my shoulder day hit hard early in the session & forced a couple unplanned extra rests, but gotta love that stuff though. I've been waking up every morning ready to mix up another scoop of dpol & smash some weight!

Alright - I'm getting in the groove now. Each session in bringing new PRs! Front Squats were the ticket today - I hit a PR for reps (barely) but once I racked the weight, felt a second wind hit me & up the wieght & knocked out a new PR! Same for Good Mornings. I definitely feel dpol has helped me out big time - my diet has been close to maintenance (or dipping just under) but instead of losing anything (strength or endurance) I'm hanging strong & still moving up (not to mention looking a bit leaner in the mirror). I do have one little cheat I've been playing with since I'm on an IF diet - I hate going into squat day from a no/low carb previous day, so I have been getting some carbs in for dinner on my rest day. My sleep has been a little screwed up lately due to the wife being sick (coughing her head off middle of the night). I'm pretty certain once I can solidify my sleep schedule, the gains will only get better.

Incline bench today - My shoulder always hates the first set or two, but then the pain just goes away the rest of the session. I had some trouble at 175 with my feet placement. I ended up sliding down the seat a bit & f-ed up the set... It threw off my focus for the next BB Row set as well. Managed to get my sh!t back together for the rest. Strength was still there, but I wasn't in the game quite as much today. I don't know if I under-ate yesterday, or if this sinus bug I've been fighting is starting to take its toll... Only one PR today - added reps. Keeping my head up though, nothing lost...

So I mentioned the wife was getting into lifting a little - starting off with Starting Strength. She asked me the other day to show her how to deadlift. Now keep in mind she's been hitting the pink dumbbell/cardio videos primarily, so I was stoked to show her real weight. I walked her thru the setup & motion with really light weight. Then just to compare the difference in bar height from the floor between smaller weights & regular plates, I put 135 on the bar & had her step up to it. She's about the same height as me (6') and thin (about 145) After some chatter, I said "now stand up" - I figured she would just stand upright. Much to my surprise - she pulled 135 - with no problem whatsoever. I think she's starting to catch the bug now :)

My wife doesn't eat meat. She's been vegetarian for almost 20 years. She eats fish and eggs though. doesn't like the texture primarily, but also ethical concerns (factory farms etc). She's cool with me hunting. The venison in the pic, she brought home from her work one day (works in a rural school corp).

My wife doesn't eat meat. She's been vegetarian for almost 20 years. She eats fish and eggs though. doesn't like the texture primarily, but also ethical concerns (factory farms etc). She's cool with me hunting. The venison in the pic, she brought home from her work one day (works in a rural school corp).
In my opinion that's the only truly healthy vegetarian style.

More meat for you though! That venison looked awesome.

Thanks man! I've been having pretty good luck cooking venison lately - with the lack of fat in it, sometimes cooking gets tricky.

I'm with ya about vegetarian - when my wife & I first met, meat vs veg was an early conversation. Luckily we understand each other.... Stuff like Veganism seems more like a religion than a diet sometimes...

Rocking out some light shoulder work this morning - Nothing too crazy. Overall shoulder strength is definitely increasing & the all-too-familiar popping is fading out - hopefully for good. Stick with this a couple more weeks, then I'll start getting a bit more aggresive with my shoulder training.

Mixed my d-pol with condense for the last couple workouts. The taste is still great in my book. I really like being able to mix the powder up with me pre, as compared to having all sorts of pills.

Nice, I actually prefer having pills on hand. Keep them in a little pocket pill organizer and are handy to have at work. Plus in the winter when I keep tubs of powder in my truck they always gets "lumpy". But for this I may have to make an exception I bought the tablets for PCT but lately I've enjoyed having the pre workout and d-pol powder on my way from work to the gym. I really can't believe how good it tastes. Apple Pie alamode: D-pol Custard Creme plus Apple Crisp Condense!

Definitely-The taste can't be beat! If you haven't yet - try mixing with OJ - sherbet-y as can be - d@mn near a dessert

I didn't think I'd like dealing with another powder, but getting up first thing & downing a handful of pills preworkout never really seems to sit right in my stomach. My last time with Anabeta sucked taking them PWO, not to mention I had to dose the DAA (tblast) all thru the day to not have issues - but then again I don't believe that was sodium daa.

Mixing it up with my PWO has worked out pretty well. I actually picked up a couple more tubs of the powder - start of April I begin an 8-week ABE, EP, DPOL run - thinking of throwing some Vanillean with it (picked up some with the Alphamine sale @ NP)

Woke up with the worst friggin sinus headache, was actually woken up by how much my head hurt. Skipped cardio this morning. Stupid headache wont go away...
