Late to the party but in for the win buddy!
Welcome back from Vaca Fin!
KLEEN & GREEN... Hey guys, both of you are 100% welcome, even requested to please put links to your beautiful Lady's LOGs on any of my active Threads, by all means, the more followers the better for all concerned!
Will do of course.

You would porably be less buoyant but still have technique which I lack in a major way.

Should have accidentally bumped into him making him fall in the water. Teach his arse a lesson.
Well we went out what an 8th of a mile and were still only waist deep... I think I would have been okay.

That was me though I swam between 160-165; I don't stay as afloat like I did before with all the muscle, pain in the ass actually. I was talking to Kleen about it since he suffers the same fate now as he is very muscle dense so you have to work hard to stay on the top of the water.
Yeah, I doubt I would even need a weight belt scuba diving...

Well thank you sir, will do
Yes Thanks Al and Finaflex!

Love that jump rope Kleen, one of my favorite forms of cardio by far.
Man it sure is awesome. I went into the cardio area. People who do it right there in the middle of the weight area frustrate me to death. I can't tell you how many times I have been looking at my workout book or something and look up almost to be smacked in the face with a rope from some yahoo jumping in the middle of the weight area. I honestly think if I ever got hit I would start a fight. I hope not but add pain to a peeve and I think bad things are sure to happen.

So On that Note: i think aggression is starting to come up already.... I just ranted in TinyGuys thread about the pussification of America. LOL

Morry... is that you in your avatar? I am assuming it is, damn Bro, you are both Big & Lean... NICE!!!
Yeah was at the end of his last run right before he hurt his back. Beast Mode isn't it!

Day 4 Workout 2

Supps Upon Waking 2 Endosurge, 3 collagen, 1.5 scoops of NO Ignite, 8grams BCAA / Glutamine mix.

Headed to the gym, I got excited my car was hit by a few raindrops on the way to the gym. It stopped by the time I got there... Only a 5 minute drive. As my son would say "Sad Face :( " I watched some of the bands of rain on the radar and it looks like the scattered storms strategically placed themselves to avoid my house. Thank goodness Lake Livingston got 2 inches of rain, it is where we get most of our water from. We have water mains breaking left and right around here from the drought and the ground shifting as it dries to dust.... I don't even know if the 2 inches will make a dent with all of that happening. Everywhere you turn millions of gallons of water rushing out of broken mains and into the gutter and washed off to the gulf... I hope we get some of the rain at my house at some point today. Anyway I digress, back to the log and on to the workout.

Pull Ups - BWx6, +25x8, +25x6>BWx4 > change to chin up BWx2 > pull downs 150x5 - I was pretty happy with this. I wasn't sure if I could get 8 at +25 on pull ups. I knew i could with chins but pull ups are a different animal. Getting to 6 on the second set was hard, I stalled halfway up on 6th rep but held my ground and muscled through while keeping strict form. As Lean as I have gotten my lats were looking extremely impressive coming down into my much smaller waist.

Cable Crossovers - 80x15, 80x15, 80x15 > 60x6 > 40x10 Man was my chest burning! I did start a bit too heavy for 15 reps as that should have been a warm up set. Next time I will start with 60, and perhaps add a little weight or just get more reps on my drops. More than likely for the purposes and design of the program I will stay at 80 and just get more reps on my drops. Only a pump day for chest.

DB Lateral Raise - 27.5x15, 30x15 > 20x8 > 15x4 - Was very strict with these I am used to going a little higher than shoulders and am trying to keep parallel to the ground now to avoid impingement. Man were my shoulders burning. Pump was really impressive in upper body by this point.

Dips - BW+90x9 > BW+45x10 > BWx11 - I did these out of order on accident. I was supposed to do curls next and allow shoulders to recover a minute before doing something that used shoulders heavily again such as a dip. That being said I think I only lost out on a rep or two in the 1st drop from that. I was only supposed to go to 6-8 reps on initial set instead of 9, so I can definitely go up next time. Not a fan of the bars on this dip platform they press into my palms deep into the bone between my pinky and wrist making it painful to perform with heavy weight. I will have to get some gloves or Neoprene to put over them to continue going heavier.

Oly-Bar Curl - 115x5 > 75x7 > 45x10, I was a little surprised not to make it to 6 with this weight today. However the pull ups / chins had taken a told on them. I will stick here anyway and expect next thursday I will get at least 6. Did I mention that my pump was friggin retarded yet?

Squats - 135x15, 185x15, 235x1, put it up - I had noticed on 185 my hip was feeling it a bit not much at all but I noticed it. The 235 was enough for me to know if I persisted I would be prolonging the recovery. It is the sitting back into the squat that gets me. I moved to
Hack Squats - 1 plate per side x15, 1 plate + 25 per side x15 - Quads had a good pump and legs were feeling worked even though not heavy weight. I did keep things nice and slow on these though.

Lying Leg Curls 125x12 > 95x6 > 50x8 - I had a nice burn going on in my hammies from these. Was a good weight to start off with.

Workout took 45 minutes again. I enjoyed it and it was hard work, although the leg issue is frustrating and something I am going to have to resolve. I will probably do Hack Squats instead on this workout until the hip is feeling better. My pump was just ridiculous everywhere.

Comments - I feel I am leaner now than in my before pics, I will more than likely take some pics at the 2 week point and then again at the end of the run. I imagine I will lose some lb's on this due to increase caloric expenditure and eating the same intake. That is fine I am trying to get to my ideal. If that means I am at 185 and 6% then that is fine by me. I think my joints are happier when I am lighter. I know my heart is, and I just want to be in great shape all around. Vascularity seems to be a tiny bit higher.

Herr Morry is the real deal........he's a dedicated lifter.

There was a wild t-storm here last night (southeastern Michigan) hail and everything, when i was little i really wanted to be a storm chaser and especially after seeing the movie "Twister" i would always freak out when a storm hit and hope i saw a twister haha. Awesome workout, i hope i can get to weighted pull-ups some time soon, also smart move on the squats i had a similar run in with an "odd" feeling in my hip so i just stopped the set to be safe. Injuries SUCK! Keep up the good work!

Funny that you say that, every time it gets really dark before a thunderstorm, I'm always looking out in every direction expecting to see a twister in the distance, almost like a de ja vu kind of thing, like I've seen it in a dream and just waiting for it to happen and see it in real life or something, LoL!

What's the most amount of snow you've gotten up there? Shoveling snow = good cardio, that's for sure.

Had about 200 inches on year I believe. Don't know what the biggest is but that's a lot of big snowfalls. With drifting a snowfall can look to be 4 or 5 feet, but that's blowing snow and probably much less than that in accumulation.

OK, I would love to see one in person, but I would want to see one from either a very safe vantage point, or at least be near some kind of train under-pass like they were in the movie "Twister" where they tied themselves to one of the posts holding up the tracks, even then if there is something in the twister being blown around and it hits you at those speeds.... YOUR DEAD! So yes, I would love to see one, but not at the expense of my Life, LoL!

Holy ****! That's a lot of shoveling haha Last year we got a bad storm i forgot how much feel but it was probably about 1-2 feet it was crazy.

Thanks Morry, yeah they hurt but we have some thick neoprine mouse pads at work like 3/8 inch thick I am going to cut one in half and see if it helps a little. The bar at my other gym does not do the same thing to me. I think it is thinner than this one.

Thanks Doc, you really think 6% I am hard on my self so I don't see it. That and the skin still tightening up makes it hard for me to see it. Then I look at Dougs pics and he is ripped right now and I think Nope I am not there...

In W.Va where I was raised we had all four seasons and each was distinct and could be severe. One time we got almost 2 feet of snow over 2 days and the snow drifts were all the way up to the roofs, we had to dig our way out of our front door and porch. When it would snow good we would dive jump and flip off the roof into the snow drifts. Was a blast, then we went out and made money shoveling driveways and sidewalks. Always did the elderly peoples for free. Well some hot cocoa of course. Summers would get to 100, spring 70's - 80's and fall was gorgeous with the trees changing colors it looked like the mountains were on fire. I still remember the joy of waking up to find out we had a snow day! Trash bags and a mountain and we wouldn't come home for hours and hours didn't need a sled. Man it was fun to grow up in a place like that. Now there is no commerce there it is really really sad to know what it is like there.

I have seen my fair share of them. They are cool to watch when not in populated areas. The coolest ones were when in Galveston, one day we were out there at the beach on the see wall and about 2 miles offshore there were like 5 or 6 of them. Was as a front was meeting the hot air over the gulf. We checked them out for a while then decided it was time to head inland after thinking hey that is kind of close and a lot of them maybe we shouldn't be out here... Trying to surf the day before tropical storms and hurricanes was fun but way to choppy.

If you are not 6% you are definitely in the 6's somewhere, maybe you aren't show-ready dry 6%, but I still think you are in the 6% range from what I've seen!

Nice update Kleen, you using a chain belt for those dips or the old hold on to the DB with your toes method? 90lb DB on the feet would be pretty extreme I guess...but BA

Great progress Kleen! Them dips are nice! I hit BW+90X10 last week and I am still on a high over it. You are about 30 lbs heavier so you are pushing a lot more, but that was a big PR for me! I'm going to try out a 90 lb DB with the chain wrapped around it instead of the 2 plates tomorrow to see if that is easier to work with.

I used to go up to 100 with a dumbbell between my thighs just above my knees with my lower legs crossed. This year fro CHristmas my wife bought me a dip belt and I love it. I need to extend the chain a little I put 2 45s and a 10 on it last week but it was way to tight and grazed the boys a little when taking it off. About 6 more inches will do so I am going to get a few links and a clip attachment.

Man my calves are getting sore from jump rope yesterday. We will see what kind of cardio I do tomorrow. Probably just walk.

A little idea of the diet today, Lunch 3 oz beef jerky, 2 small chili's from wendy's poured over a baked potato, a frosty with oreo :) had to have a treat. Mid meal 3 scoops protein powder, 1 cup frozen blueberries in a smoothie 2 oz almonds, about 15 peanut M&Ms, and for dinner I had a glass of wine, 14 oz lean pork loin 1 cup green beans and 1.5 cups low fat mashed potatoes. Pretty typical build day for me except for the frosty. ;)

Gonna get my last dose of Endosurge and collagen together take it to the room and take it in about 45 minutes when it has been 90 minutes since eating to take advantage of the GH release.

I used to go up to 100 with a dumbbell between my thighs just above my knees with my lower legs crossed. This year fro CHristmas my wife bought me a dip belt and I love it. Nice nutrition for today...not gonna lie Im kinda jealous ha! Should have no problem assimilating to the Jump Rope. Never tried with the DB between the thighs, but I do have a chain belt so I guess no need. No fun grazing the boys though definitely been there...put ya out for a couple minutes for sure.

i am on 2nd bottle of endosurge and have taken it both on an empty and with a meal, effects seem different to me. i like taking pre workout and bedtime doses on an empty but take middle dose with food-i seem to get more libido boost when taken with food but more of an anabolic effect on an empty-but that's just me.

Yeah, however I am not a quitter so I stood there with the belt hanging off me for s second then climbed up and hit those dips anyway.

For sure there would be a difference, with food you will still get the signal for LH stimulation from the mucana , but not the GH. I hear that divanil is stable without food but is still absorbed a little better with it. So not sure if that could effect the libido at that time. Yet presence of Fat and or Carbs blunts GH output which would make sense as to why you would get more anabolism. Having a big GH pulse increases IGF-1 levels and protein synthesis which would definitely be considered a pretty anabolic situation. Then you can eat after and the body can make use of the food to build. GH only has to be present for a very short period however the effects that it triggers last a long while. Another option I haven't seen too many people employ instead of taking it prior to the workout would be taking it immediately after the workout when both testosterone and GH have natural signals to release. Then having a protein only shortly after and a bigger post workout meal about 45 minutes after with carbs and everything. That would be a highly anabalic situation via amplifying the natural release.

Congrats Fin!

Thanks Chris, things are looking good in here and the idea for running it post workout does sound intriguing. I take it on an empty stomach most of the time or after my pre-workout protein shake, I do notice a lot of extra focus for the workout when I do that being that Novem has no carbs in it. The libido boost I get is just huge no matter what the time of day is I take it.

Might be all those pics in your log. LOL Yeah I mean I know that L-Dopa increases libido on it's own and obviously increased free testosterone will increase libido as well.

Nice... how did you like the time in the Sauna? Another good thing to do on the days you spend time in the Sauna is take what I call a Hot/Cold shower... you get in and get it nice and hot or warm and then slowly over 5-10mins keep lowering the temperature until it is as cold as it can go and believe me it is very invigorating/refreshing and also will cool your core temperature down so you are not sweating for like 30mins after your shower, I do it every single time I go in the sauna and absolutely love it!

That is what I did with the pool and and the whirlpool the other day. I learned that from oh heck I don't remember but it is where I learned it. Then you reminded me of it with our convo about getting it hot then icing it. So I put it back into practice but today the sauna felt so good no time for the pool just put an ice pack on the hip when I got home.

I normally spend time in the sauna, had slowed it down when my estro was low due to cramping and what not from being too dry. Have been doing it more recently though.

It may not be you right now, but you are right back on your way with the workouts and the diet you are sticking to.

I'm amazed how you have found such a good routine that doesn't break you in half, allows you to "cheat" without really doing so, and still puts on a good deal of LBM.

I would say you aren't too far from that now. The last pics I seen you were pretty lean in them.

Yeah my son wanted to hook me up with a uhm... "Captain Jack Sparrow" style Adobe Photoshop he said it was much easier to use but Paint.net is free. He is in college level programming and art design in Junior year. He has written a few Java games, smart kid...

Thanks Morry, this past year has been a pleasure as far as diet goes. I can not believe the freedom I have in my food choices. I do follow a 75-80/25-20 clean regiment but when I want to have more I don't worry about it. The one offs are of no consequence other than a bit of water. I love the workout, modifying the rep ranges really seems to be a nice addition to what I had already made up. I could not be more pleased with my physique right now for the "effort" I am putting into it. Effort to me consists of the diet, the working out is the passion, not effort.

I would say you aren't too far from that now. The last pics I seen you were pretty lean in them.
I am pretty lean. It surprises me every once in a while. Skin will tighten and I am like "DAYUM Me Likey!!!"

Excellent, I hope I can continue to do all three. Have an awesome group of individuals in here too add to the log as well.

Guess who got a package in the mail yesterday! I am going to help the wife with writing an intro to the log this weekend. However she will make all her posts.

Well I just took some NO Ignite and have already taken morning dose of EndoSurge, will be heading to the gym, take more endosurge right after wait about 30-45 minutes then feast! Will update the workout later. I do deads today should be fun! Push press is first in the list today and that should be a blast. So we shall see how this one goes. Deads are the only lower body effort I get to go heavier on until the hip recovers.

Awesome Bro, I know it will be a good Log, did you see the nice picture that LittleGreen posted presenting the Logging care package we sent, very nice set up, really showcased our products nicely! Anyway, very happy to hook both of your Gal's up, with you guys backing them up I have absolutely no worries, not to mention we need more female input & Logs on this forum, I believe it is definitely a win-win all around, not to mention, what I like about running a LOG personally... it keeps me accountable for what I am doing, because anyone can claim this, that or the other, but when you are posting workouts, diet, stats, and pictures to back it all up, if you are just BULL$HITTING... everyone will know, and really, for the bull$hitter's out there, they are really only bull$hitting themselves! Anyway, I'll step down off my soap box now and see glad to have KleensQueen doing a LOG for us, it is our pleasure here from FINAFLEX!!!
