That's alright. I'm hoping for a big 2nd half from Gronk. He's too big, too fast, and way too strong to be stopped. Feel bad for anyone that tries to tackle him.

I don't think anything makes me more angry then the Broncos or the Duke Blue Devils. Not a fun dude to be around when they're losing.

All I wanna do is go smash weights but it's my off day which is needed but I just have that urge to go train!!! Gotta hold off though.

Smashed legs today. I mean SMASHED!

Day started with my morning stair master. Dropped it down to 20 minutes.

My weight was 170 this morning.

I upped calories to 2500 and going to see how weight fluctuates. I didn't do a huge jump post contest (only 100 calories) because of my post contest meal day lol.

So ~2500 calories, ~80 fat, 125 carbs, ~300 protein. I know protein is pretty high but once carbs get higher I will bring protein back down. Keeping carbs like this for the most part:

~20 grams at breakfast
~20 grams pre-workout
~60 grams post-workout
Rest of carbs are trace from various foods (greek yogurt, veggies, cottage cheese, etc).

So we will see how things go. Looking to only add .5 pounds per week or 2 pounds for the first 4 weeks. Going to be a slow process but worth it.

Yeah no doubt the slow way is king when reversing. I literally remade my metabolism. Could barely handle carbs, and I was maintaining my weight at 2,400 cals and 149 lbs. Now I'm 141-142 and I'm holding steady at 2700 cals and 360g CHO a day, its insane how you can change it
Yeah. I've always crash dieted like an idiot (go from 300+ carbs to 100 or less carbs to cut and then from 50-100 carbs to 300-350 carbs instantly after a cut). Hoping this will help the metabolism and insulin sensitivity and ability to tolerate carbs better.

it really is. I find it so hard just to not have a goal or deadline. If I have a deadline I can focus in and have no issue doing whatever it takes to get there... Once that's gone and the only goal is "don't get too fat too fast" im a mess

Do you like you refeeds pwo or the day before? I've seen it done both ways but I personally like pwo better.

What're you trying to work on with you back? Thickness, width, overall?

Pwo. I've seen/heard some doing them the day before, but I always have done them on days I am trying to bring up lagging body parts to push harder in the gym.

Honestly, thickness and width. I need a wider v-taper and thickness would be nice as well.

it's become mine ha. I was always a shoulders person but I've struggled to put on the size I want so I kinda went more towards just trying to strengthen them

I

just love the look one can achieve from the back.

I just wish my gym had different machines to hit it at different angles. But I'll be at a new gym at the beginning of the year, so hopefully they have a few that I would like to use.

But for now I'll stick to heavy ass deadlifts and barbell rows :)

My gym has literally zero effective machines for back. Cables and bb/db exercises are it for me. I'll also be out of my gym come new year as well but I'll be on the road so diff places all the time. I love hammer strength machines so I can't wait to get to use them since most big gyms have them now

That's a really good one, so is the iso-row and front pulldown. Thankfully, my gym has basically ever piece of HS equipment there is.

Agreed. My new gym has those and most of the hammer stuff...I love hammer strength and it'd make the bulk of machines in a gym if I had the money to own one. :eek:

Okay so, get to the gym, Amino IV spills and shaker busts in half. Not a good way to start the session but I was excited about High Volume. Anyways, the pump I got today was stooooopid!! 3rd working set of first exercise and my chest was pumped to the max. Second exercise, pump was insane. As you can tell, I had one hell of a session today.

You know it's a good pre-workout when it's chest and shoulders and you got leg veins poppin out everywhere :)

Interesting that you do your raises neutral grip. I've tried that way but feel I end up using more arms then shoulders.
