Home gym sled training surface question

I have a basement where I could put a sled track of about 4 ft x 30 ft. It is an unfinished concrete basement. I want to find an affordable carpet or turf that I can put down and push or pull a sled. The problem is getting it to stay on the concrete and not slide or bunch when moving the sled. Does anyone have any ideas?

If I just use a cheaper carpet that is short and use a carpet glue you think that will hold up?

It should do fine. The edges will be the most susceptible to peeling up obviously. But I would imagine the cheap carpet will give up before the glue does.
