HCG to promote 5ar enzyme activity

I've read through numerous studies that HCG is a precursor to 5ar enzyme activity. I'm currently suffering from Finasteride sexual side effects and I'm thinking about using HCG to possibly get rid of the sexual side effects. I have two 5000iu containers of HCG that I want to use.

My plan was to use 250iu EOD with no AI or SERM until I ran out of HCG. Should I use an AI or SERM? I don't want to desensitize my body and I'm not looking for any massive strength or testosterone gains. I just want to give the balls a proverbial boot in the right direction. What does anabolic minds think? Is 250iu EOD until all 10,000iu of HCG is used up a safe bet? I'm trying to minimize side effects and don't want any hormonal desensitation.

I would add low dose Clomid like 6.25-12.5mg along with a mild AI like inhibit E or Virtus through your whole hcg run and 4 weeks following

To be clear, you have stopped the finasteride, correct? That should probably be the first step

Hey guys, thanks for the responses. I've discontinued taking finasteride and have been off it for 2 and a half months now. I'm hoping I can recover naturally but I'm a very impatient person and the waiting is really frustrating the **** out of me which is why I asked this question. You don't really realize how sex drive really is a key motivator for a man until you lose a lot of it.

My plan is to wait 1 year to see if there is any natural improvement before using any external hormone substances. I'll be following a bodybuilder workout regimen supplemented with cardio on off days in the mean time.

Next question: Completely unrelated, What Does Anabolic Minds think of a test cyp/mast cycle supplemented with 250iu of HCG EOD

Proposed Cycle: 10 Weeks

Week 1- 10: Test Cyp 300mg, Mast 150mg
EOD: HCG 250iu

I was considering using Nolvadex (Tamoxifen) in order to control estrogen. What does Anabolic Minds think an ideal dosage would for this particular cycle?

Don’t use nolva for e2

Use aromasin, it has androgenic properties

Wouldn't sexual side effects from finasteride be due to killing your dht levels? In that case increasing your test levels via hcg or as you stated adding a test cycle take care of this pretty quickly? More test = more dht due to conversion. Or does finasteride have a more permanent effect on conversion rates? I always had thought it worked more like exem to where it kills conversion for set amount of hours and then you either redose or let levels climb back up.

Interested to see how this works for you.

The pathways through which finasteride works seems to be way more complicated than just 5ar, given how many people on propeciahelp complain of not recovering even when introducing 500mg test + proviron.

Or it’s as simple as 5ar, but it’s a permanent shutdown/desensitization.

That's insane....if 500mg test + pro iron doesn't do the trick....well that's scary.

Just out of curiosity OP, I assume you've already tried cialis / viagra or something of the sort? Or your just looking for a real fix instead of a bandaid?
