This is an awesome read guys!! Cool to see competition and motivation like this.

I do have a question though, I noticed that you guys eat different amounts of fat/protien/carbs on different days....why is that? And is there some glorious literature that you could point towards regarding that? Thanks

Thank you for following and what we do is carb cycling...there is plenty of literature on it I'm just very tired and don't want to look it up at the moment but the idea is heavy workout days (legs,chest or back) you get a higher amount of carbs and lighter workout days (abs,arms or shoulders) you eat a medium amount of carbs and cardio or off days you eat low to no carbs...plenty of people will chime in to add more of sure...also for protein i just always get at least .9-1.3g per body weight and Fat will change as carbs change...if its higher carbs then it's lower fat and vice versa

Carb cycling I have seen guys here talk about that just didn't or don't know what it is. Ok, the pattern makes sense now. So what is a refeed day and what does it do? Ill do some reading...Thanks!

I have a few different patterns I've tried. Carb cycling makes me tired as hell 24/7 its great but be ready to nap.

1 method: 3-1-1-3-1-0-0
Big lift days get 3 carb meals, other days only one in the AM. Days off are 0.

2nd method: steady diet where only carb intake is 1/2grapefruit with first meal and 100g blueberries the last. Every 2 weeks is a scheduled refeed meal.

The David Henry: eat everything in sight all weekend then diet incredibly tight all week.

If you've never done it before it may be good to try doing a 3-2-1-3-2-1 method to see how you fair. From there you can turn days into 0s till you have a solid grip on the 1st method.

With the above how do you portion out the carbs and is there a formula for those amounts ie. protein/carbs/fats. Carb Cycling seems pretty complex for a beginner so baby steps would be nice.

Usually if it goes along with what the thread is about ie cycling Carbs it's not a big problem. Usually at the the OP or in this OP's discretion. They're both cool cats I don't see that being an issue. Plus i'm sure they'd like to help spread knowledge which is what it's all about

Day 4: Low carb day
Fat 102, carbs 30, protein 205 around 1850 cals (same as yesterday)
Tuna salad, Flaxseed ground and mixed into meatballs (fibertastic), brocolli, small amount of frozen pineapple for the ocassional sweet treat.


Supplements: 2 motivate in the morning 2 at 2pm

Workout: Chest day:
Bench 135x10, 185x10, 205x10, 205x10, 225x8
Incline Flyes, 30sx10, 35x10, 40x10, 50x8
Dips, Unweightedx10, bw+45x10, bw+90x6 bwx10
Cable crossovers: 6x10, 7x10, 8x8 (numbers on cable machine 1-5 is 7.5lbs and 6-15 is 12-15lbs so not positive on weight)

Strength still at par with usual but not increasing.

4 mile jog went well a bit gased at on the last mile but finished strong.

I am feeling pretty good so far tomorrows higher carb day will be nice for a back workout. I am feeling lively throughout the day and right before bed, I start to feel pretty tired so the motivate is cutting off at the perfect time. Spent the day doing drywall in my basement which is a great way to not notice if you are hungry or not I got done at around 3 and was like crap I should probably eat about now. Trying to keep my water intake at around a gallon a day. I am excited for my jog and workout should be a good time.

Apparently my workout partner doesnt like jogging with me because I job too fast and too far...... Coward. So this time I will be jogging Han style..... Solo.


Current stats: 6 feet tall, 205lbs down 2 lbs so far.

Day 4: 118g carb 180p 70f total 1866 cals

FOOD: Had an awesome breakfast! 2 scoops VMS protean with 2 cups milk a small scoop of vanilla ice cream and some blueberries yum!!!! Rest was oatmeal chicken and eggs the normal lol

Workout: chest n bi b today...Great pump decent work...looked and felt full all day...still weighing about 177-178 no cardio today took a break from that

Supplements: Fat Smack XR x2 11am n 7pm

Overall today I was a little mad about the scale even tho I rarely go by that...my fiancée said I look much skinner so that helped a lot...bought 12 pints of blueberries for 12$ today!!! God damn they are addicting...ate almost a whole half a pint today lol so amazing...love local farms

I'm 21 bro, and barely started working out seriously for 10-11 months , and well barely started bulking after a good cut :D! almost 2 months of bulking now :p! But yeah I am WAY to young for a PH/DS run , let alone an oral active steroid like Super Drol :D!
If I weren't on my iPad I would rep that... Someone rep that. First smart decision all month by anyone born in the 1990s.
I tried to rep celzora for that post, but i could not. i repped him recently i guess.

Honestly dude I'd say you could have waited much loonger.. Most guys that I know and train with are in their 30's and late 30;s..
anyone that has ran a cycle in their twenties says this "i regret running a cycle in my early twenties, if i could go back and make myself wait longer, i definitely would have"

I'm only 22 yrs old right now i have been competing as a natty bb since i've been 19, and i plan on staying natty... Maybe later in my thirties i might change my mind, but as of right now I don't plan on running a cycle..
no reason to juice when you're this young, you're only hurting yourself in the long run, just saying..

Haha I'm not good at acting...I'm hoping to be like in a fitness magazine one day even if it's the smallest pic on the back page at least then I can rub it in everyone's face that always laughed at my dream when I was chubby with acne

Workout: Back n Tri B Had a much better workout then I expected...put up 175x12 on the close hand bench :)

Supplements: Fat Smack XR x2 11am n 7pm

Stressful work day...didn't feel like moving this morning so I planned for a day off at the gym then said screw and went and had a very decent workout

Today: 71c, 190p, 95f 1900 calories
Got to have some ground beef, 1 can tuna, 1/2 a pesto bagel today with cream cheese, with black beans, a small amount of pineapple and some broccoli. Also 3 hardboiled eggs with mustard on them because mustard rocks.

Today my jog was only 2 miles because I am trying to break in my new shoes. I also had 10 minutes of HIIT jump rope added in for good measure.

This evening is my Back workout which I will post my workout once completed.

Current mood: pretty good the motivate is keeping me with a decent amount of energy throughout the day and I didnt have too much work this morning just a few deliveries and some more drywall work. Cant wait to see what the next few weeks entail in terms of fat loss.

Supplements: 2 motivate am 2 motivate pm

Recap of the past 10 hours...hit a deer with my car...fiancee's car over heated and had the radiator blow...got clipped with a 1600$ medical bill I didn't know I had bc they sent it to the wrong address since November (now fighting with them on the phone)...didn't get the job I applied for and my bank account got hacked and I got everything jacked out of there (now fighting with the bank to get it fixed)...gym is also under construction so I have to go to another one and pay the 10$ daily fee but I don't have access to my bank account so I'm getting change from all around the house since I never carry cash on me I don't have any laying around...so FML today blows!!!!!!!!!! Also been at the car garage since 10am...currently 3pm

Day 6: not sure

FOOD: due to not having a chance to eat my normal food so I ended up going to a Buffett but got mostly all chicken type things aside from that meal I'm at 1200 cals 100g carbs 100g protein 30g fat so as long as all that food wasn't over 800 cals I'm good

Workout: None due to my stressful day...might play tennis and run some laps tonight at least tho

Supplements: Fat Smack XR x2 11am n 7pm

Overall: just a horrible day really need **** in my life to get better it's hard focusing on dieting and lifting with constant stress going on so my pics will prob suck if I don't step it up these next two weeks

Yeah still a cop in my department and it all started last night when I left work man it's like a plague of crazy **** going on and I'm shipping his bottle tomorrow morning with a few extra goodies that he doesn't know about yet :)

Jesus now my fiancée gets pulled over lol it never ends!!! I'm just laughing about it all now I mean I think someone has a voodoo doll of me and is stabbing the **** out of me...I'm going to play some night tennis under the lights and run a few laps on the track...gerbil my cortisol level are prob insane from this stress lol you can stop dieting and still beat me I bet haha

Today I ate a low carb chicken/blue cheese wrap, bockwurst, knockwurst, german hot dogs, and sourkraut. The german in me is Smiling but I was a bit sad I couldnt have potato salad.... Oh well.

I felt like the hulk at the gym today, but was a bit rushed I got there an hour before it closed.

It went as such
Wide grip chins 12,10,8,6 Which were supersetted with seated rows to save time not going to bore you with the number because they are almost meaningless but it was slightly heavier then normal by about 10lbs but on average 2 reps less per set.

Close grip pulldowns, same as seated rows, these were supersetted with inverted rows 3 sets of 20 with a 45lb plate on my stomach.


Standing dumbbell rows, 45x10, 65x10, 90x7
Croc rows: 90x20, 110x20, 115x20.

Felt really good today, felt like my muscles popped a bit more in the mirror. I really hope by buddy howwedo, does better.


Also these are the cherries I keep referring to
