This is true. The benefits so wonderfully stated by YJ are too good to pass up. 20-40 grams a day od soy isolate will do the trick

Incline barbell 3 x 10
Incline Db 3 x 10
Reverse grip bench 4 x 15
Cable flat presses 3 x 10/10
Pec dec 7 x 12

One of my best chest days in a while. Really targeted the upper chest. :D

Gotta Get GEEKED!!!

Wt down to 278 :D

Yesterday we blasted a little bit of arms and hit abs. Followed by HIIT.

Today we doubling back on legs. Get GEEKED!!

wt 277lbs. Starting to feel hungry more often.


Yesterday was one heck of a leg day. wow. I will revisit this exact workout again. I laid out about 3 times and had trouble recovering. It's been months since a workout made me take it to the floor.

Seated calf raises: 6 x 20
Leg ext: 4 x 20
Superset with standing calf raises: 4 x 20
Feet together heavy leg press: 3 x 20, 1 triple drop 10/10/20
Superset with Seated leg curls: 3 x 20, 1 triple drop 20/20/10 pause reps
Reverse Hack squat: 4 x 20
Superset with lying leg curls 4 x 20
Lightweight deep squats: 2 x 20
Superset with smith machine stiff leg deads 2 x 20

Treadmill: 35min

Seem to not have the same recovery that i'm used to. Since we've picked up the pace i've been sore, a feeling i haven't felt in a long time.

DOMS -Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness :(

When it comes to DOMS I always prevent them by hot/cold shower.
Sometimes I even do a cold bath.
It's great for your health overall and can help the healing process much quicker.

Almosted puked during squats yesterday. :(

Going for 5 x 20 @ 265 back to back with Curt. Was very very rough. I haven't felt that feeling since my first prep.

Seated calf raises 5 x20
Leg ext 4 x 20
Standing leg up superset with glute work 4 x 20 each
Squats 5 x 20
Leg press superset with lying leg curls 4 x 20

wt 271. Pretty good considering i carb backloaded yesterday :D

Been out of town celebrating my 4th wedding anniversary but i'm back at it!

May have enjoyed myself a little too much, left at 268 came back 283!! But its been coming off. Back down to 273

ROTFL!! It was added water from the high sodium. Up my cardio, got my sodium back on track and then BAM, wt back down.
269.8 after back loading 200+ carbs last night

S/N: might be TMI, but i watched my wife squat 135 x 20 twice and then finished up with 225 x 6. Turned me all the way on!!! lmbo

The same thing happens to me when i go on vacation. I put on a good bit of water but lose it quickly once im back on my diet.

Thanks. I think the most over looked has been my wife. Leg pressed with the fella's yesterday and held her own worked up to 5plate on each side for 15 reps. :shock:

Decided to go with low carbs yesterday about 120g on leg day and it was rough. Might get up to 140 today and load up tomm. Planning on a 2 a day for tomm.

Today is shoulders. Tomm will be arms n abs in the AM and chest in the PM. Gotta get GEEKED!

Wt is 269.

Hit a lil morning cardio today before work. Walked a mile.

wt 265.2

Had a decent back workout yesterday. Feel like i'm cheating myself but the reduction in volume but the trade off for slower more controlled reps makes my muscles sooooo fatigued by the end of the workout.

Good work yesterday:
Pull ups 5 x 10
hyperext 6 x 15
Close grip pull down 4 x 12
superset with wide grip row 4 x 12
High machine row 3 x 12, 1 x 12/12 dropset
Super set with bent over row 3 x 12
Machine lat pulldown 3 x 25
Superset with standing lat pulldown 3 x 12
Assited pullups 7 x 12 stretch and squeeze reps

Side note:

Big Sam will be taking the stage tomm. So we're going as a team to his weight tonight @630 and i'll be working on his tan later tonight. Afterwards, i'll have to get my training done.

He looked amazing, the best i've ever seen him. We are all proud of him!

I believe the best thing i have done for my lifting this year was rebuild my squats. Yesterday i squated 585 x 5 good reps and i felt like i could have done more.

My wife also hit a PR squating 235 x 5

Also, starting to tighten up.

lol!! I think she has found a new love in squats!! She's been squatting twice a week since i got her squatting seriously. I think its time for some deadlifting.
