Unanswered Does Test by itself make you hold water or its the Estrogen it converts to?

Can you look dry af competition ready if you do lets say 400mg of test per week and have crashed estrogen using 2,5mg of letro ed? Why do contestants drop test before the competition if its estrogen only thats causing the water retention, because i cant see any other reason for test to make you hold water besides sodium retention but all AAS including winnie and var that are ran up until show day cause sodium retention anyways

Because test itself with make you hold a certain amount of water even if it’s just a LITTLE. Estrogen makes it a lot worse as you mentionned. You can look pretty damn shredded on test if you’re super lean and your estrogen is in check. But if you wanna be stage ready that’s another story
