What's up guys. After trolling around here for a while I thought it was time for me to post. I've got a lengthy athletic history with a wide range of interests, but for the last year and a half I've been completely consumed with Crossfit. I could go on for hours about why I like it so much, but that's not what this forum is for.
My only complaint about Crossfit is the negative attitude toward supplementation. There is a very negative attitude toward "unnatural" supplementation that I just don't understand. Some people dabble in protein and maybe some creatine, but that's really about as exotic as it gets. Clean diets are a must and a lot of people are into DHA/EPA Omega 3 supplementation... Regardless, I've taken it upon myself to reach out to you good people to let me know what's up.
My question for any crossfitters out there (or anyone familiar with CF methodology) is this: What are some of the more cutting edge supplementation methods out there that could benefit a healthy, strong crossfitter looking to maintain cardiovascular endurance and build upper body strength?
Some more info on me:
Diet: Paleo Diet with 3-5 cheat snacks allowed throughout the week in order to keep up variety and accomodate busy lifestyle.
Current Training:
CF Three on/ One off. These workouts vary tremendously and each one pushed the body to its limits in a unque way.
Supplements:
Jacked (two level scoops AM, two level scoops pre-W/O)
8 teaspoons Carlson's DHA/EPA (4x2 tsp)
4x Now ZMA Capsules before bed
Any thoughts, concerns, ideas, complaints are welcomed.... let me know what ya'll think. Thanks!!
