it doesnt feel like I use to much, its hardly a dime size in my hand.... hmmm. You think that is too much still? Can I apply if I have put lotion or tanning lotion during the day? Can you go out in the sun? I will be going to Florida in a few weeks so want to know for future!
Well, the thing about "dime size" and "quarter size" with these liquids is - we often overlook thickness. It's hard to say without being there and seeing, but at the end of the day, "dime sized" does not sound like too much unless you are creating a "thick dime".
One other thing that is often overlooked - you REALLY need to shake the heck out of this stuff before each use. I mean - go nuts.
The other thing to do - DO NOT over rub. I always want to rub it in, but I've found that if I leave it with just a little bit of brown on my skin, and let it dry, it actually dries better and most of the time the brown is completely gone within 5 minutes. Even with a small amount, if I try to rub rub rub, I eventually start getting carbomer balls all over and it's a pain.
As others have mentioned on here, I think this is THE BIGGEST issue with Supernova. It works, so some people will put up with it. Keep reading below too...
No. Unfortunately, EvoMuse has horrible QC and it's a roll of the dice if you get a perfect product, or one with *something* wrong. It's usually something to do with "Carbomer Balls" rolling up and falling all over the floor. I ordered 2 bottles of SuperNova from Nutiverse, and got two completely different viscosity products - had to re-mix them myself and use some additional Isopropyl in one - unacceptable for a consumer product. You either put up with it, or use something else. You should contact EvoMuse and see if he'll swap out for a good one - he's always come through when there was a problem, once you get a hold of him, it's just too bad that it seems to need to be done a lot with the topicals. As a comparison, who's ever gotten a bad bottle of Dermacrine (RIP)? QC, QC, QC...
I pretty much agree with you. I used Supernova Beta - bought two bottles. It was my first Evomuse topical product. I still have a little left in each bottle because by the end it got too clumpy and unpleasant to use. Having said that, I have since begun using Ab Ab and some final production versions of SN - the Ab Ab was WAY better and the latest version of SN is also way better. There are still some balls with SN, but they aren't nearly as bad and absorption is much better. I think this experience shows that there are some QC issues, which goes back to Matt wearing too many hats at a small company - but it also shows that Matt is listening and reformulating and making improvements. For whatever that is worth.
You have, good CS there. But that first "AbAb like" product I received directly from EvoMuse - should be the only version anyone should receive from anywhere they order - and that's not happening. QC needs improvement. It's business - I had to improve my QC when I started my company back in 2008 too
It's how we get better and grow - nothing personal.
I've had similar issues with some of the other Evomuse products as well, especially with Eviscerate. Use a little less, but it's likely that you'll still notice it clumping.
And I would agree with The_Old_Guy on Evomuse QC. They make phenomenal products, but each bottle is inconsistent. I could swear I had a bottle of AbAb that was bad. The first bottle I used was incredible, and the second bottle I ordered months later did absolutely nothing for me. Love the company, but wished the QC was a bit better...
Again, I agree with both of you. I love the stuff that Matt puts out, and I love the way he puts his heart and soul into it and really wants to do right. I think that most of the time it can be tough - customers don't always complain, they just stop buying. Hearing where things can be improved and tweaked is actually extremely helpful and I don't think Matt takes that part personally at all.
