I don't have an ice cream maker. I use Breezy's trick with a bag of ice cubes and salt and shake for 10 minutes..

Ive tried that way to with no success. Maybe I am using too much almond milk?

That shouldn't be an issue with the bags. I've used 3 cups before and it came out great. Not enough salt can cause problems though.

Keep me entertained and give me a reason to bake something good :)
I just put the top layer on some OxyELITE Protein PB Cups. Based on how amazing the sludge and the pb taste, I know they'll be phenomenal. :)

So I failed at whey ice cream again. I ran the machine longer and the bottom froze solid causing the top to pop off. After 12 mins running still no ice cream :(

Have you guys seen the new product at Kroger stores called CARBmaster? They've got yogurt, and a lactose free drink that are spectacular.

The yogurt comes in 12 or so flavors: I've had Key lime, Caramel spice cake, and cinnamon roll - which were all amazing

The macros:
60 calories
1.5g fat
4g carbs
8g protein

Price: 50 cents each!

The Milk-like drink comes in Vanilla, which is also amazing!

The macros:
60 calories
0g fat
3g carbs
11g protein

Price: 2 for $5 at my local kroger!

For any of you other low-carbers out there, check em out!

Do you spray milk around the bottom/sides to prevent freezing?
Do you use a spatula to get the ice cream out?
Hmm.... I did not know I had to do this. So what is it I am doing? Pouring a little milk into the bowl before pouring in the whey?

Nice, but milk isn't really 'carb heavy', neither is yogurt. Really just saving single digit amounts of carbs per serving which isn't worth buying a new product.
Just my opinion of course! And... I may still try it if it is that tasty. ;)

Take some milk pour on bottom and swirl the bottom of the maker around to have it coat the sides, will prevent the freezing to the side when making the ice cream

Make a shake pour it in and let it run.

Tons and TONS of videos on youtube show it.

OxyElite Peanut Butter Chocolate Low-Carb Fudge

Ingredients

100g Greek Yogurt
100g Non Fat Plain Yogurt
50g Oxy Elite Protein (Chocolate)
2 TBSP (36g) Peanut/Almond Butter)

Directions

Mix your Protein Powder, Yogurt, and Peanut Butter in a bowl
Take a 9x9 Pan and spread the mixture evenly across and leave a bit of thickness in the final batter.

Throw in the freezer for 45-60 minutes and take out, Use a knife and cut into small chunks and serve on a plate. So simple and easy, could also be done using almond milk instead of yogurt (I would use ½ cup amond milk for 50g Protein and 2 TBSP PB)

PB can be omitted if you want a lower fat alternative.
