Hello lads,
I’m taking this medication for an infection,
I didn’t know it was so bad on muscles and tendons,
this thing is scaring the **** out of me,
is it safe to train on this stuff??
Any supplement that I can take to minimize the risk of injuries??

I don't think there's any supplements for what your describing, I recommend just taking a few weeks off from the gym till your medicine is finished.

I was prescribed cipro and took one dose and felt like hell (nausea). Started reading up on side effects and it was full stop on that nonsense. There are some crazy horror stories. Best option would be if you can get your doctor to prescribe something less 'nuclear' as from what I've read cipro is a very strong antibiotic that is usually overkill for what it is treating.

To avoid it now I just tell prescribing doctors that I'm allergic. ;)

I would lighten your weightlifting until you finish your antibiotics, and then at least for a couple weeks afterwards. The rate of of serious injury with that antibiotic in the general population is fairly low, but if you train really hard or have previous injuries, you can probably up the percentage for yourself. Don’t push yourself, and get better.
