Bloody stools on Epi???

I'm on my 4th week of Epi at 45 mg. This week I have had bloody stools in the toilet a few times. The blood is bright red. My urine looks just fine. What could cause this? I've taken Epi before no problems. I did have a rough superdrol run a couple months ago that I had to stop because it was hurting my kidneys and liver to much.

is the blood seen on the toilet paper when you wipe, or in the toilet?

if its when you wipe, its probably a little chafe, possibly hemorrhoids ......if its in the toilet, i'd probably get that looked at.

but, some people get nose bleeds, i dont know if there could be a similar event like this due to BP

It's in the toilet. I heard that if it's bright red, like this is, then it is most likely hemorrhoids. I'm not sure what else could cause this other then it being hemorrhoids, constipation, or colon issues. Steroids would have nothing to do with any of those issue's then I assume being that they deal with the kidneys and liver which can't cause this problem in the first place. Is this possible with high BP? I wondering that as well..

I don't have the luxury of a seeing a doctor. That's why I'm on here looking for other's opinions that are more educated then I in this matter. It's all I can do. I'm a full time broke student with no health insurance. I know for a fact rectal bleeding can't be caused by anything dealing with the liver or kidney's so I do feel relieved there. The only insides that can cause this is the colon or any of the other symptoms mentioned above...

Could be hemorrhoids or ulcerative colitis. Do you have a health center on campus?

dude im not trying to call you out but if you have taken sd and epi once and epi again I think you can go to a doctor. It is not worth your health, and if you had a really bad a sd a couple months ago why are you back on orals so soon?

yeah, exactly this ^^^ probably shouldn't be in the toilet if it were hemorrhoids ....but you never know.....
"Internal hemorrhoids
With internal hemorrhoids, you may see bright red streaks of blood on toilet paper or bright red blood in the toilet bowl after you have a normal bowel movement. You may see blood on the surface of the stool.
Internal hemorrhoids often are small, swollen veins in the wall of the anal canal. But they can be large, sagging veins that bulge out of the anus all the time. They can be painful if they bulge out and are squeezed by the anal muscles. They may be very painful if the blood supply to the hemorrhoid is cut off. If hemorrhoids bulge out, you also may see mucus on the toilet paper or stool."

This ^^^

I gave myself a pretty good break but I agree with you...I could have waited longer. This does not have anything to do with that though. Orals are hard on your liver and kidneys. Those two things don't make you crap blood regardless. I was just looking for some insight more or less. Not to get bashed...

I've had plenty of blood on the TP....but never in the bowl. that would for sure concern me. maybe on the RAREST of occasions there might be a ting of it in the bowl....but if its a one time thing, no problem....if its chronically like that? I think its a bigger problem. but I wouldn't go to the doctor either, insurance or not. I hate those fuqs, they never know WTF is wrong anyways and waste your time (unless its life threatening then I'll go :D)

I basically came on here to ask if steroids can cause this or not and if so how? I should have just asked up front. I apologize...

bro - you NEED to see a doctor.
let me tell you a little story about a friend of mine..he had the same symptoms as you - ****ting bright red blood etc. anyways he passed it off as "well maybe its just hemorrhoids" and "it will probably go away". so time went on and it got worse. WAYYYY worse. long story short; he did nothing about, and ended up so sick he had to go to the emergency room and was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis
.http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmedhealth/PMH0001296/ (read up on this link)

he was a pretty big dude but he let his condition get so bad that he was forced to stop lifting. lost 60lbs since. had he gone to the doctor sooner he would have saved himself alot of agony and his condition would have never got to the point its at today.its your body bro - i cant tell you what to do, but you know you only got one. so my advice would be to do whatever it takes to get yourself the proper medical attention/opinion.

Prob internal hemmoroids. I was ****ting blood a lot, in the toilet. Went to dr and got the finger. He said two massive internal hemorroids. He didn't even know how I could take aa dump. Anyways after two dilated anoscopies where they inject cortisone in em, there is no blood. But it was explained to me by my dr that they don't exactly go away w some kind of treatment.

Did he at least buy you dinner first?

Seriously, though, good info, I always recommend going to the doctor for stuff like that.

If it's bright red then it's nothing to panic about,,,, serious internal bleeding comes out looking like coffee grounds or black ink.... stool softeners, aloe vera juice and psyllium husks go a long way to helping

people with health insurance dont realize how people without it have been pushed out of the health care system.
first u go to a doc. thats 100-200$. all they do is send u to a specialist. another 400-1000$ just to talk to you. they want to know how u plan to pay right up front or they wont even talk to you.
then they send u for tests. several thousands of dollars. luckily they bill u for that instead of require money up front since they are humanitarians.
then u go back to the specialist and pay him again to tell u whats wrong if he even knows. then if u have a condition that requires surgery and its not life threatening, you cant get it without paying first. if you have a condition that requires medication, more money. money money money
i aint been to a doc in 12 years cause of sh1t like this. i am speaking from first hand experience. i spent 3 days in the hospital a few years ago and it was 20,000$. all they did for me was give me antibiotics and tylenol. i could not pay it. bill collectors still call me all the time wanting that money. even call my parents house once a week to this day.
i gotta give you credit, you tell even crazier stories than me.....the worst part? they are all true and I totally agree LMFAO :D

yeah its true. i wish them f*ckers would quit callin me. i'm gonna have to file bankruptcy on that crap.
had the SAME thing happen.....but they thought I was gonna die, and they put me on temporary SSI??? the social security for people who are disabled or gonna die....so they paid all my bills, even backpayed the ones from before I got approved....I got lucky there....BUT when I was out of work for 6 months during that time? of course the OTHER bills got out of hand LOL...so those fuqs still call 8 years later I kid you not....at least I got my medical paid so there are less people calling. It boggles my mind that they have nothing better to do than call you 7-8 years later about a fuqin credit card bill. I changed my home phone and cell phone numerous times...but they have my parents # since they were helping me out during that time I was being diagnosed and all that...so they get calls sometimes to this day since the put their # down when they signed shyt for me....

i used to be a comercial debt collector... some debts have a limitation, and there are rules about when and where they can call. The rules are even more stringent when it comes to consumer debt.

Cleared up next day. Hemorrhoid ;)
Most likely it is internal hemorrhoids from straining during your crazy workouts! but take your age and family history into account if you have any. Bright red blood in the stools is not good. If it happens again or you have any other symptoms like dull abdominal pain, nausea, night sweats or things like that you really need to get it checked out.

This is the most accurate stated so far. ^^^

Bright red blood indicates something like hemorrhoids, anal fissures, etc. Blood that looks like coffee grounds is the symptom one needs to worry about as that indicates it came through the digestive tract at some point. In likely hood for you it really is internal hemorrhoids as you are on cycle which can elevate blood pressure which in turn can exacerbate the hemorrhoids. Definitely try adding in some fiber such as metamucil. I wouldn't go to the docs over this.

No, I only called businesses about things like advertising and the insurance coverage for their employees that they weren't paying... So no, I was not one of "those guys" at all. :D
