I've been using Protein supplements since 1991, anyone remember Cybergenics? :sigh1:
I'm leaning out right now for summer. Gain muscle when I can and then cut up.
I train heavy, not supper heavy, but enough to control the weight and do 6-12 reps. Combine with Cardio 3-4 days a week and evening walks.
My nutrition is Multi-V, Protein, ALCAR, Uniliver, Liv52, VitC, fish oil as my base.
I am 38
I can post daily and I can start whenever if choosen.
I am on FB only.
I do take 10mg of Lipitor, but no medical conditions

Protein muffins or pancake (you choose how you want to eat them)
Preheat oven to 350
In a bowl add 2 scoops of protein, 1 egg, 1/4 cup of milk (baking powder if muffins)
Mix in a bowl and bake 12-16 minutes for muffins and golden brown for pancakes.
Nummy stuff!

How long have you been using protein supplements? 9 years 6 months

Current fitness goals:

Maintain current muscle at minimum, expecting to gain muscle. I am searching for a protein to facilitate the goal of muscle protein synthesis, prevention of catabolism or muscle wasting, and allow for shifted macro values to lose small amounts of body fat steadily leading up to July (honeymoon).

Training Style:

Rest-pause / DC training style with focus not only on lift specific progress each workout but total workout weight volume for time spent in the gym progress (each workout total weight lifted / time spent must surpass previous)

Nutrition Style:

As a student of nutrition about to graduate with my undergraduate I focus on eating for optimal performance which varies depending on the day, what stress I will put on my body, what stress I need to recover from, etc. focus timing/concentration of leucine at regular intervals to prevent breakdown of muscle and promote MPS.

Paleo Banana Bread

6oz: 250 calories, 25 fat, 31 carbohydrates, 10 protein
Great for Breakfast
everyone loves bread

Prep time
10 mins

Cook time
60 mins

Total time
1 hour 10 mins

Serves: 8

Ingredients

  • 4 bananas, yellow (2½ cups mashed or 575 grams)(they can be yellow bananas)
  • 4 Eggs
  • 1/2 cup almond butter (140 grams)(or coconut, sunflower seed, macadamia nut, etc butter)
  • 4 tablespoons coconut oil
  • 1/2 cup coconut flour (75 grams)(or almond flour, macadamia nut meal, etc)
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • pinch of sea salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees fahrenheit
  2. Combine your bananas, eggs, and nut butter, and coconut oil in a blender and mix well
  3. Once all of your ingredients are blended, add in your coconut flour, cinnamon, baking soda, baking powder, vanilla, and sea salt and mix well
  4. Grease a 9x5 loaf pan with a fat of your choice (I used coconut oil). If you use a metal pan it will probably bake in 35-40 minutes so start checking at 35 to ensure the middle stays moist
  5. Pour in your batter and spread it evenly throughout
  6. Place in your preheated oven and bake for 55-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean
  7. Remove from oven and flip your bread out onto a cooling rack
  8. Slice and serve
Variations

  1. Cranberry Orange – Only use 3 tablespoons of butter. Add zest of one whole orange diced, juice of one whole orange, and1 cup dried cranberries or fresh if you want
  2. Chocolate Blueberry – Add 1 cup of fresh blueberries and ½ cup of cocoa powder
  3. Pumpkin Pecan – Reduce the almond butter to ¼ cup and add ½ cup of pumpkin puree and 1 cup of roughly chopped pecan pieces

Notes
If you want to make these into muffins, use the same recipe and for mini muffins bake approximately 25 mins and normal size muffins 30-35 minutes.

This seems like it was created just for me! after several months of rest i am starting my new training routine fresh and ready to be the strongest version of myself. i just couldn't do it without shakes because of my busy lifestyle. this is truly an opportunity to test a new product because i havent had a shake in three months. ok HERE GOES!

I started using protein shakes and suppliments in general two years ago when i got out of jail for the last time. i was a wreck and knew my lifestyle needed some serious tweaking. i immediately started my pushups and pullups and haven't looked back since. since then ive gone from benching 180 to 325.

my goal is to get big. real big. strong. 600 pound bench strong.

i train for mass. heavy iron, low reps. usually a high rep warm up for two sets and a 5x5 working load.

i'm very into all natural. free range eggs. organic meat. green juice. creatine is all natural, right?

im 22 years young and am very interested in where mf fittness goals will take me.

stand by. there will be pics (ladies, no you cant have my number)

as soon as my powder gets here is gonna be a full log with HONEST content.

check me out on face book lucas wigley (the half naeked guy)

btw im healthy as any one and as far as prescriptions NO

strap in cuz this is gonna be a no bull **** revue of USPlabs® Anti-Catabolic Advanced Performance Protein

hey guys, try this out and tell me this little nutrition bomb isn't the best damn way to start your day!

one cup coffe, just how you like it
one teaspoon real cocoa powder
two scoops of your fav protein powder (chocolate is best for this mix)
one cup greek yogurt.
three table spoons honey.
20 oz. almond milk
one table spoon coconut oil

blend all that together and do whatever you do after breakfast.
this is my shake that iv'e seen great gains while using.
this is the best shake for me because not only does it taste awesome, it has probiotics from the yogurt and honey, other shakes just dont have that. plus the coffee gives it a nice kick!

  • Training Style: 3 day split.Monday: Squats 2x5 1x5+, Press 2x5 1x5+, Weighted chin ups 26-8. Wed: Deadlift 1x5+, Benchpress 2x5 1x5+, and Row 2x6-8. Friday is a repeat of monday. Each day has intense HIIT conditioning at the end.
  • Nutrition Style: Mostly brown rice and chicken. I eat 3 square meals, usually having 2 fists of complex carbs (brown rice, sweet potato, etc.) and 2 fists of lean protein (chicken, tuna, etc.). I will throw in a Tbsp of olive oil or a couple Tbsp of peanut butter in there once a day or so.

  • Current fitness goals: Cutting down to 5-10% BF. Currently at 181.2 lbs, target weight is between 170-175, Current BF: ~15%
  • Training Style: 6 Days Per Week, Each Body part twice per week, Cardio 6 days per week
  • Nutrition Style: IIFYM, mainly composed of bro-foods.
  • Are you over 18 years of age as of 3-15-13? Yes
  • Will you be able to produce a detailed log (WITH a daily video or image) for each of the four (4) servings we will provide? Yes

  • Post your favorite protein recipe (shake, baking, cooking, pre-training cocktail, etc…). Protein Sludge: 1-2 Scoops protein powder, ~2 ounces of water into a bowl (water or milk is fine. ounces depends on protein type, you want it in a thicker consistency), mix/stir until creamy/ice cream like consistency. Add Non Fat Greek Yogurt (i use stop and shop brand), 2 TBSP Peanut Butter, you can add fruit or any other ingredients you like. Put in freezer for 30-45 minutes. Protein "SLUDGE"!!! Delicious
  • Mine is typically 2 scoops of MTS Whey, Vanilla Stop and Shop non Fat Greek Yogurt, 2 TBSP Skippy Natural Peanut Butter:
  • Calories: 606, 22 g fat, 33 g carbs, 72 g protein.
  • I eat this whenever i want or need some good calorie and carb intake. Sometimes before bed, sometimes upon waking up. Whenever you want some delicious snack, you can eat this.
  • This recipe is the best because when you are cutting and want something chocolate like/ice cream like, this can solve your problems and be perfectly healthy. you can also mix and match ingredients to fit the macros that you have available. You can substitute fruit, put in peanut butter or leave it out for less fat content. you can do 1 scoop of protein for lower protein intake. It is really customizable which allows everyone to get what they need!

Ingredients:

1/2 cup rolled oats
12 scoops vanilla protein powder
2 cups walnut meal (grind the walnuts in a blender…that’s it!)
1/4 tsp baking powder
pinch salt
2 medium bananas (very soft, mashed)* I used frozen, thawed over-ripe bananas from my freezer
2 large Omega-3 eggs
Directions:
Mix the dry ingredients together in one bowl and the wet ingredients in another. Then mix the two bowls together. If needed, add a tbsp or two of water to mix well.

Heat oven to 350F. Place ingredients in a metal 7 x 11 non-stick baking pan and bake at 350F for 12 mins until a knife comes out clean from the SIDES of the pan (not the middle). It should be slightly undercooked in the middle when you first take it out. If you bake this too long it will be very dry.

Makes 15 small bars
2 Tbsp pasture butter
2 Tbsp water as needed

Nutrition Facts (Per Bar):

Calories: 190
Protein: 12 g
Carbs: 8 g

I have been using protein supplements for around 10 years off and on. I have been using it daily for the last year and a half.

My current fitness goals are to build lean muscle.

I train for size and strength. 4 days on 1 day off.

Nutrition style is clean with high lean proteins, lots of vegetables and whole foods.

I am over 18

I can provide a very detailed log everyday with pictures.

I can start ASAP

I am on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.

Not on any prescriptions nor do I have any medical conditions.

Favorite receipe is
1 scoop whey
3/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
2 tbs PB2
8oz Almond Milk
2 tbs Honey
38g protein/ 6g Fat /57g carbs
I drink this post workout
Yes it's the best out there on taste alone, but it also works great due to the honey causing a quick insulin spike and rushing the nutrients to my muscles!!

Awesome I'm excited first time to experience the benefits of this site. I've been using protein supplements for 3 yrs steady now with little results I can tell my body is different but not where I want to be yet. My fitness goals are to train hard everyday to compete late this year to early next year. I hit the gym hard for 2 hrs focusing on 1 muscle group per day making sure I get it good. I train to get bigger so my nutrition varies every 4 weeks. I carb load for few days then no carbs, every other week I eat every 3 hrs lots of chicken and rice with veggies early day then meats and potatoes later.I am 37 yrs old. Yes I can provide daily image,i can start ASAP and I'm not on Facebook twitter Instagram or YouTube. I'm not on any meds and have no preexissting medical conditions. I'm looking forward to changing my body and telling everyone how I did it with USPLABS ANTI-CATABOLIC ADVANCED PERFORMANCE PROTEIN. I thank you for the opportunity...
