Mdrol summary
Alright everybody. Sorry I haven't been updating frequently lately, but I have been busting my butt in the gym still. I'm still kinda sore from that freak accident and I definitely am feeling it in my lower back but it's starting to get a little better. It's usually just stiff so I've been avoiding squats for the last week and I'll probably stick with leg presses until I'm 100%
THOUGHTS ON MDROL:
I ended up gaining 10.5lbs on this 4 week cycle of Mdrol. I originally wanted to do it 20/20/20 but by the third week I was only up 7lbs so I decided to up the dosage around the middle of the third week to 30mg and stayed on 30mgs until the end of the cycle.
I consider this cycle to be somewhat successful in that I was really hoping gain around 15-20lbs of LBM on this compound, but in all honesty I can't really blame Mdrol for my results because my diet should have been better! I take full responsibility for this and in retrospect I should've probably waited until I was in a more stable situation before jumping on cycle. My calories were around 3800-4000 cals/day and I had cheat days on the weekend,but I like to count everything I eat and I KNOW for a fact that I wasn't putting away 4500cals/day of clean food every day. I guess I just wasn't mentally ready to eat that much. I guess I'm just emphasizing this to anybody who may be reading that bottom line I don't care how strong the compound or cycle you are doing is, if your diet isn't in check your not going to get the results you want.
All in all though I did enjoy Mdrol while on cycle. I didn't experience any extreme irritability and that's pretty good for me because I tend to be edgy at times. What I loved about Mdrol the most were the strength gains.
I started off benching 225x12 at the beginning of it and on my last chest workout on cycle I hit 255x12 for 3 sets!!!!!!!!! and then I hit 275x6 after that. I probably could've hit numbers higher than that but I was playing it safe trying to avoid injuries at all costs. 30lbs on Bench is really impressive for me as I have always struggled with upper body strength.
Similarly with legs I was repping 315x8 on squats and can hit 7plates per side on leg presses for 10-12 reps. So yeah strength is crazy on Mdrol but you knew that already.......lol pumps were also good on cycle but not the crazy skin tearing ones I have read about some people having
SIDES
Well I'm not out of the clear yet, but I feel that it went pretty smoothly on cycle. I had some back pumps and I know my blood press was high from the mild headaches I would get but the headaches got better towards the end of the cycle and I used taurine for the bp's.
Other sides were frequent urge to urinate and this would come and go. I am bald now so I know that I have sensitivity to DHT. I'm pretty sure that Mdrol converts to DHT so I was taking alot of Saw palmetto and I hope that my prostate didn't grow alot. Might have to use fincar or something similar in the future.
Libido was great throughout and even elevated at times and I didn't have any atrophy at all...
Did have some mild chest pains and this also happened to me on Pmag. If it's gyno then I'm hoping the serm and reverse taper AI will take care of it.
IN SUMMARY: I enjoyed Mdrol and for me the sides were pretty manageable. (time will tell) I definitely felt the strength gains but I will not be taking this compound again until I get used to eating more than 4,000 cals per day. This will be my last cycle for the year and I plan on getting some check ups done before any other future cycles just to make sure my health is good to go. For now I'm going to keep bulking and may look to cut sometime in April or May. I'm not sure what my next cycle might be but I'm interested in M14add? I think it's a dbol precursor from what I've heard so that seems promising. May run it as a bridge with a test based product. If I can get my hands on some injectables though I might hit that up.
