San Diego right? what is so good about SD?

I seem to notice super increased libido in weeks 4 and after for a while.
Well shoot, I only have a 4 week supply. Might need to get me another bottle!

San Diego right? what is so good about SD

It's a wonderful city man. You got great beaches right there close by, women are cool and smoking hot, awesome bar scenes i.e. Pacific Beach, Ocean Beach, and downtown in the Gas Lamp District. Balboa Park is freaking awesome... it's huge, lots of running trails, museum, things to do. On the weekend at the park there are all kinds of performers, etc. Mexico is just a hop skip and a jump away if you want to vaca or party down there. Great fishing if you go out on the boats or from the pier. SD Zoo is one of the best in the country, Sea World, and you are not too far away from Disneyland, Knoott;s Berry Farm, and Six Flags. Mission Bay is a huge man made bay/water park that everyone BBq's, parties, boats, jet ski's at. Great, Great music scene. Weather is pretty much perfect year round, and no place turns you away for wearing flip flops...

.... oh and did i say.... The San Diego Chargers play there..lol

Seriously though, there is so much to do and it's got a great laid back attitude. Outside of SD my two other favorite cities are Vegas and Austin, Tx.

Day 14

Slept like a baby last night for a solid 7 hours. Woke up at 0400 and hit back/abs

Pull ups: 4 sets of 12

Close Grip T-bar Rows: 90x15, 135x12, 180x10, 225x10, 270x6, 295x4(PR)

Close Grip Lat Pulldowns: 165x12, 210x8, 210x8, 240x6

Wide Grip Lat Pulldowns: 180x12, 195x10, 210x6, 210x6

Straight Arm Rope Pulldowns: 140x10, 170x8, 195x6, 195x6

Weighted Back Extensions: 4 sets of(35xfail, 25xfail, 10xfail, BWxfail)

Weighted Cable Crunches: 150x12, 190x12, 215x12, 235x10

I had a ton of energy this morning. All my lifts felt great. I even hit a PR on the T-bar rows. I'd have to say it was a good day.
The rows gave me a pretty nice back pump(the good kind) and it kept getting better throughout the workout. I feel like I am eating more now, but my abs are still popping. Good times!

Day #6

Got some good sleep last night. No dreams that I can remember, but I woke up well rested and ready to hit back.

Floor Pull-ups: 4 sets of 10

Deadlifts: 135x12, 225x10, 315x8, 405x2

Wide Grip Lat Pulldowns: 165x12, 185x10, 210x8, 225x5

Close Grip Lat Pulldowns: 165x12, 190x10, 225x8, 240x4

Straight Arm Pulldowns: 140x10, 170x8, 190x6, 190x6

Seated Cable Rows: 165x12, 200x10, 240x6, 270x6, 300x3

Back felt great this morning. I got a really nice pump in the lats and arms. Was hoping for a few more reps on the 405, but I gassed. Probably should have hit 365 instead. 405 just looks way cooler on the bar. :sgrin:

Strength feels pretty good right now. I am able to put up some decent numbers even while fairly low on carbs/cals.
I'm going back a week to call you out Brad...405 is shenanigans I tell ya. There is no good or viable excuse for not pulling 425 damnit. None. I expect this to be rectified by the next time you pull. Hear me? I haven't seen you do any back squats to judge with, but you hve leg presses in the 500-700lbs and front squat in the 170's. No reason you can't pull 425 or more. If you are gassing out, try starting with few reps... instead of 135x12 make it 135x10 the the next set of 8...6... etc till you get the real weght up.

Just saying I know you can brother man

Ah sucks man, why you gotta call me out like that. :sgrin: Nah, you are right. Bout time I moved on up.

When I checked into SD for school, I had never done a deadlift before. They scared me. I always heard they were one of the best mass building exercises out there, but I was too much of a pu***.

Since I have gone cold turkey on supps I have noticed that even though I am sleeping all the time, I don't get the same quality without the HGHPro, so I am tempted to get back on it. Have to clean out for a while though... HGHProm will be the first thing I reinstate as it is more of a staple product for me.

Day 15

Dreamt I stole a Porsche and went to a strip club with poles in each booth. Good times.

Woke up at 0400 and hit legs.

5 min warm up on bike.

Leg Press: 320x10, 500x8, 680x6, 860x4, 950x2 (I see a lot of guys hitting these at 45 degrees, but the range of motion is very short. I like to lower the back further to the ground so I can get really deep reps.)

Front Squats: 135x10, 155x8, 175x6, 175x6

Seated Leg Curls: 180x10, 210x10, 240x6, 255x6

Seated Leg Extensions: 165x12, 195x10, 225x8, 255x6, 255x5

Standing Calf Raises: 8 sets of 235xfail (15 sec rest between sets, a trick I learned from Arnold)

One more great workout to add to the books. Legs felt very strong today. I gotta remember to bring my leg wraps next week so I can move up on the leg press.

Halfway through my bottle of HGHpro now, and loving it so far. No complaints or neg sides. Like I said earlier, I will def be buying some more bottles for future cycles.

All this talk of a good nights sleep... I'm really gonna have to try some. I basically survive on ambien, benedryl, unisom, and any other pill I can take to sleep. They are my unnamed and unmentioned staples. I'm awaiting test results back on my thyroid, full metabolic panel, and some other stuff to help try and resolve my chronic insomnia. I've no doubt that when it comes back it'll be fine and my doc is gonna try and send me to mental health. Playing her games for now is the only way she'll give me the script. Damn Air Force docs are not as giving as my Navy docs. Bithc is smoking crack if she thinks I'm actually gonna go to mental health...lol I'll just have to go back to mega dosing benedryl or go online and purchase.

Ha, good looking out. Why is that though? Specific possible reactions (like with the apgc or gaba) or just the possibility to knock you out too hard and make it hard to get up?

Day 16

A solid 7 hours again last night. Woke up ready to tear up chest.

Hammer Strength Iso-Lateral Incline Press: 90x10, 180x10, 270x8, 360x5, 450x4

Incline DB Press: 70x10, 80x10, 90x8, 100x6(PR!), 105x6(PR!!), 110x4(PR!!!)

Incline DB Flyes: 50x8, 60x6, 70x6, 70x6

Cable Cross-Overs: 80x8, 100x6, 100x6, 115x4

This morning was one of the best chest workouts I have had in a long time. I was feeling pretty pumped and strong. 95s was my previous PR for incline press, but the 90s felt very light so I decided to up em to 100. Those felt pretty light as well as the 105s. The 110s were a little heavy, but I got 4 solid reps in. I was so amped after that last set. Good thing the gym was dead, because I got a little excited afterwards. :sgrin:

Looking forward to the long weekend, and lots of recovery food/sleep. Outta here at 1200.

Just wanna say thank you to all your guys overseas who don't get this weekend off. You guys are the reason we celebrate Memorial Day, and many people take it for granted. Keep on going above and beyond out there, and know that you have the support of all your fellow service members back here in the States.

2 PR's. Great way to start the week! I have to admit, I was feeling pretty huge during the workout. Arms were crazy pumped and my strength was thought the roof. I was really strict with my form and was still able to get those 65's up. Good times!

Sleep/recovery has never been better. Only 10 doses left though. The end is near, and I am not looking forward to it. AI, I think you guys gave mw a new addiction, but who can put a price on great sleep?

Shoulders/Traps

I am Legends: 4 sets of 12

Seated DB Press: 50x10, 60x10, 80x6, 80x6

Seated Bilateral DB Lateral Raises: 25x10, 30x8, 30x8, 35x6

Unilateral DB Clean and Jerk: 3 sets of 50x12

BB Shrugs: 135x10, 225x8, 315x8. 405x6, 405x6

I played Red Dead Redemption this last weekend, and I have been having Western dreams the past few days. Got my 6 shooter, horse and all that good stuff.

I know that recovery has improved because my quality of sleep has, but I am still getting pretty sore. I think its because my strength has increased and my muscles are still not used to the extra power. They can't keep up. Good times!

Day 23

Dreamt I was at an amusement park last night. I did play Left For Dead 2 prior to bed, so I think that had something to do with it. I got about 7 hours of sleep as well. Woke up at 0400 to hit chest.

Hammer Strength Iso Lateral Incline Press: 90x10, 180x10, 225x8, 315x6, 405x5

Incline DB Press: 80x10, 100x8, 100x6, 100x6

Weighted Cable Crunches: 170x15, 190x12, 225x10, 235x10

The abs didn't quite get a full burnout yesterday, so I decided to throw in a few sets this morning.

The rest of my body is quite sore. Really looking forward to 2 days off and lots of sleep.
32 pills left. Better make em count!

Strength was great again this morning. Really felt the muscle contractions, and got a nice pump. 1 PR as well.

Still feeling the effects of the arms and shoulders workouts. Just means the muscle is growing. Feels good!
You're going to have nights where you sleep less but my theory is, is that the quality if so high you don't needs as much...:24:

Seated Calf Raises: 6 sets of 50x12

HITT Cardio Upright Bike
-2 min warm-up
-1 min High
-1 min Low
Total=15 mins

I got this workout from the June issue of Flex. It was crazy intense. I don’t normally hit legs with so many reps, so this routine really burned them out. The HITT at the end finished them off. There are some really good workouts in the Flex, with a lot of extended sets. I'm gonna throw a few into my usual routine.

Strength was definitely up. Contractions felt very powerful. I really felt all the muscles working.

I am probably going back for some HITT cardio/abs during lunch. Got a work pool party in a few weeks, gotta work on the beach bod. :sgrin:

I know accumulated good rest will cause and increase in energy, but I sometimes see a little extra in the strength department on some of these HGHPro threads...

Yeah, I think it is a combination of both. My energy/strength is definitely up.
