Exactly. Everything has to “kick in” to get those actual gains. Usually your second or third rotation of workout split and then the real magic happens with orals. Pulsing yielded maybe 10% of that, which is really what most are after... Suppression is unfortunately the drawback for real supraphysiological gains.Pulsing always seemed like a good way to increase aggression and have a better / stronger workout in general. I can't say that I noticed any extra gains from pulsing though....just a fun way to get a serious pump going.

Any other reason is not really worth it, unless you have liver problems, in which case probably should just not use orals at all. My results doing it years ago were maybe 30% of running the oral continuously. But no shutdown.

I’ve only pulsed Epi@60, SD@20, DMZ@45. At least 2hours prior to lifting. Better pumps and some aggression (even if placebo), and overall better recovery and gains from that specific workout than with nothing. It simply lacks that strength increase and daily increases in muscle density and recomposition that you get from running the oral continuously. That “magic” that happens your second or third rotation of your split where you just gain daily and are pumped all the time, strength jumps every workout, the nutrient partitioning that’s unmistakeable 24/7. You can brew like a 5 year supply for $100 too lol. The PIP is a bitch though, it will leave you sore for days.

What do you mean by no shutdown/slightly supressive? Androgens are supressive regardless of the route of administration.transdermal = better bioavailability could be a good new way to pulse, no shutdown, no liver issues

Nah man... I use a test and tren lotion for the face. It helps with acne and gives great pumps. No shutdown whatsoever. I’ve always said that using orals only pre workout can be beneficial. Though I prefer every day two weeks on two weeks off. I’m glad the resveratrol made you feel better. Though in all honesty I doubt it did anything to offset suppression.Fairly old thread but thought I'd bump. Years ago, I successfully pulsed SD 30mg preworkout 3x per week. Strength gains were huge. I wasn't on TRT or cruising at the time, and I ran a high dosed PCT supp with resveratrol in it on my off days and suppression wasn't too bad at all. I only saw positive strength gains from doing this though...
I tried pulsing SD with and without that PCT supp. The PCT supp gave me bigger loads when I used it lol.. and the nads hurt a bit/atrophied when I wasn't using it. I feel like it was working. I can't remember the name of the supp now, but I remember a lot of people used it on light oral cycles in PCT and it was pretty decent for most people.
