Anyone ever buy bitcoin before?

1st time user. Tried several bank cards debit and credit and then big name credit cards and my transactions keep getting declined. Wtf I'm not savvy with this stuff

Check out the crypto thread. Lots of info there. I don't have btc but I have ethereum and several altcoins.

If you're having trouble using a card...

PayPal could be a potential option for you. Transfer funds into your account, then use said funds to buy BTC. Card never actually gets used for the purchase. Can then send it to your personal wallet.

but most won't let you use a credit .. has to be debit or your checking account is the only way.

i have it in coinbase .. other option is cashapp.

wish credit card was allowed but prolly a good thing its not lol

honestly despite what some people think, I still think Coinbase is the best (even if they have been dicks about XRP since day 1).
Uphold is another option.

agree i would coinbase for ease of buying
i do have a wallet as well

when I was playing with nft's I'd get my sol from coinbase then send to phantom for pretty much everything.
Or LTC to another exchange for xrp, etc... but coinbase has always been my preferred onboard exchange

I am buying bitcoin so I can purchase "items" online as most vendors only accept bitcoin.

I buy loads of crypto, have used bank card thru moonpay to buy etherium, that's worked for me and fees are fairly low. Sometimes I'll use crypto.com to buy but fees are higher
