knowing Rocket, there isn't a nurse or other woman in the world that could interest him, but I'm sure he wouldn't be upset by his wife in a good halloween costume.
I don't know, he has a good collection of WOW shots... Just have a look at his entries in the yoga pants for procycle thread. Now he wouldn't give more than a look for sure, but he has a good set of eyes on him. :)

I was thinking the same thing. He sees 20/20. Maybe even an affinity for the thicker side of the spectrum.

Yeah he does have a good little collection that he has posted in the Yoga Pants thread.
But like Kleen said, he would only give a look. Now I know he likes long socks or stockings with a garter belt….if his wife dressed up like a nurse with a short skirt, stockings, and garter belt, I’m sure he would go for that.

I have some very sad and unfortunate news. I just reached out to Rocket’s daughter and he passed away this afternoon. I have asked if there is anything they need and will let you guys know what she says. This makes me so sad! I know he’s in a better place an no longer suffering! He was such a wonderful man and a huge part of this forum! He will always be remembered!

Thank you for letting us know.

That is so very sad. I feared something was really wrong because he had stopped replying to text messages a couple weeks back.

He was always such a positive and uplifting person and had such a wonderful and positive attitude through everything.

It's so sad that he went through so much with this battle, and especially that he went through so much and things seemed for awhile to be in remission and like he was getting better for it to all turn so terribly downhill for him.

I did! I told her that were are all very sorry and how much he meant to us! It is sad how many we’ve lost over the years that I’ve been here!

Yeah, it's always sad when things like this happen to anyone, but especially when to a genuinely good person like him.

And it's so sad when things look like they're getting better, like a false sense of hope - like him going into remission and it seeming like he had things lined up for the transplant, and him actually having such great insurance that would actually cover everything - for it to then turn around and go down hill so quickly.

I had a bad feeling a couple weeks ago when I stopped hearing from him, one of those just can't shake it bad feelings, to where it kept me up a lot of nights - I knew something had to have turned for the worst and that it had to be bad; I had a terrible sinking feeling about it and did all I could do by just continuing to pray for him.

I was blessed to get to communicate with him and get to know each other and converse with each other outside of the forum for a long time, and my life will forever be better because of that.

On the forum we talked supplements, but outside of it we talked about my daughter and his kids and grandkids, as we had some things in common on a personal level (my daughter has high functioning autism) and we often talked about how we viewed that as a blessing and shared stories about how things that bothered some people were actually special and dear to us.

He was a good man, someone that I truly admire and hope to be able to live a life that he would be proud of.

Very sad to see this. He was a very positive presence on this board and I’m sure he radiated that same positivity in the real world. My thoughts and prayers are with his loved ones.

That is such sad news…..he was such a good man and not only loved by his family and friends, but also very much loved here by his Anabolic Minds family. He was always encouraging and supportive to everyone he communicated with. We know he is in heaven, no more pain and suffering. Praying for his family.🙏

RIP my friend, you will be missed 😞

This is heavy news. Rocket was my friend.

We shared a lot of interests. He loved lifting, bodybuilding, supplements, nutrition, training. He had squat about 600lbs raw years back - Rocket always appreciated me & my wife’s competing and was always genuinely supportive & interested. He enjoyed everything about muscle & strength. We also shared a love of horsepower & drag racing - he knew the feel of warm hydraulic fluid & wiping oil from your wrench. We would swap supplements, share what was going on in our training, talk about the good things we had eaten and times spent with our families. He was so happy to be a grandpa.

I’m really going to miss him. I wish I could have one more conversation with him, but that’s how it always goes. He was always so proud of his family, who he loved dearly, and he always focused on the good things in life - taking things as they come instead of wasting energy about how they should be. Rocket made everyone around him more positive.

Rest in Power, Rocket. You will be missed.

Wow, just floored by this. There is a Rocket size hole in my heart. His positivity and love of his family and friends is something that had a great effect on me. It's funny, he offered to send me some of his collection of shakers a while back and I really wish I had gotten one of those now as a keepsake of our friendship. I do still have a P28 Born Hungry shirt he sent me with some of the supplements we traded once and I still think of him every time I wear it which is surprisingly often compared to other supplement shirts.

Rocket, you are missed, know your legacy lives on in all of us here that you had a positive effect on, and many who are better people because of their time near your Sir.

You are missed, you are loved, and we are better for having known you Rocket!

I am so angry, so frustrated, and so heartbroken by this. what an absolutely tremendous loss for his family, he had such an amazing soul, so much compassion and love and vigor. He loved his family so much and so much drive in his own ambitions. I can't even tell what I'm feeling.

Maybe if they'd share the funeral information you could share in private DM or something for us, somehow on a way where an address isn't internet public, so we could have local flowers delivered from his AM friends. a small gesture to show his family how loved he was outside of his home community.

I was going to mention this. That or maybe we could all send Kat some money to send a thing of flowers for the funeral from his AM family. Of course if she was willing. No Arm twisting there just she has the info hook up.

It's speaks volumes the way everyone here has something wonderful to say about how Rocket touched and effected each one of us individually , and as a crew.

He helped me several times with mechanical issues, tires, drag racing etc etc. We did plenty of transactions behind the scenes.

I have thought about Rocket several times today throughout the day. Although we never got the opportunity to meet in person, I felt like we were neighbors.

It's just the genuine person he was towards everyone.

Rocket 🚀, you will be missed my friend and thank you for the time we had over the years

🚀 🙏 🚀

I'd be happy to just send some cash app or venmo or whatever to anyone who maybe wanted to buy extra flowers for the funeral.

I’d be happy to take up money to send them flowers or something if that’s what you guys would like to do!

They haven’t posted any funeral arrangements yet but they are asking for anyone able/willing to donate blood or platelets in his honor since that was a huge part of his treatments daily.

Holy ****, this is not what I was expecting to see while trying to catch up on missed threads.

not going to act like we were close or anything like that, but I never had an unpleasant interaction with that man. Always positivity from him. I can’t fathom why this happens to people like him. It truly is unfair, and I could tell so much how he loved both his personal and online families.

I think sending flowers is a great idea…..and I for one am going to be giving blood in his honor.
It’s really great seeing all of the personal experiences from all of us that he touched. Him and I shared a huge interest not only in working out but in cars and music as well. I’ve owned several muscle cars over the years and have a Camaro right now, and have always loved drag racing. And he has had and driven some true horsepower beasts in his day. I definitely will think of him when watching drag races now. I actually feel like going out and doing a huge burnout now. Miss you my friend.🚀💪🚀

Yeah, he was very proud that he had gotten in such great shape, and was in the best shape of his life after the age of 60. An inspiration and example for us all.💪
100% looked better than I ever have and maybe ever will! Truly is an inspirational character.

id love to do something in his honor. Flowers are good, but I’d even be down for a shirt or something that just directly goes to benefit the family for a longer time frame? Maybe be cool if SNS could do a “collab” shirt of sorts that a portion would go to his family, if he had any favorite sayings or anything.

He tried near every supplement on earth so I know he enjoyed them! Sorry for calling SNS out on the spot like that, just the first brand that comes to mind that actually seems to have a personable approach to this board.

Yes, I would love that. Just give us your paypal or something and I will send some cash your way. Then go schedule a donation for next week.

Right, if my car wasn't in the shop right now I would go out and launch it. I will have to do that when I get it back. New driveshaft, broken motor mounts replaced with custom beefy performance ones. I should be able to get all that torque to the road instead of snapping my drivetrain!!! Plus he was always excited when I talked about getting the meth installed which it will be when I get it back so VROOM VROOM RICK! VROOM VROOM! I will do a launch just for you!

Yeah, I probably freaked some of my neighbors out with a 3:30 AM burnout. But he use to start posting here on the forum usually between 3:00 to 3:30 AM, so I thought it was fitting. My wife was freaked out when I walked back in to get ready for work, but when I told her why she actually thought it was a unique cool gesture.
Hey, not only give blood to honor Rocket……
Burnouts for Rocket.😎😇

2010 SS Camaro….actually at the first of the year my son and I are going to put a supercharger on it and another camshaft to push the horsepower over 600. You turn off the traction control and it will do some killer burnouts, it will bark the tires past 80 mph shifting gears. Now it is more than factory, headers , Magnaflow exhaust and tune, but you know how it is you always want to push the horsepower, so supercharger and cam next. When I retire in a few years, my son and I are going to get a 1959 GMC Apache Pickup to build together.
I’ve had a lot of old muscle cars, 62 Chevy 2, a 66 Impala SS, 67 Firebird, 55 Chevy Pickup,
and we built him a 69 Chevy Stepside Pickup when he still lived at home, so the 59 Apache will be my retirement gift to myself.😎

I do think flowers is always a nice gesture, but did want to share what the family said about it:

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society or donate blood at your local blood bank.

I just wanted to post that for anyone that didn't know.

Very sweet posts and gesture on your end. I miss him very much myself.

You're not calling me out or putting me in a spot - Richard (Rocket) was a very good friend of mine outside of the forums. On the forums, we discussed supplements, but 99% of our conversations outside the forums were about family and faith.

There will hopefully be an option around the beginning of next week for people to donate and I will share more information when I have it.

Rocket was very personable but also very humble, and things like this are something that he would always want to run by his family and out of respect for him, I'm not wanting to do anything without discussing it with them and I felt it best to give them a few days before mentioning any of it.

The shirts with the sayings are a good idea - there are two things that he said a lot that always stood out; and I had been trying to figure out a way to express those as parts of his legacy and who he is and the effect that he has had on so many people.

Before things took a turn for the worse, I had discussed an idea that I had wanted to do with Rocket because its a subject matter that is very special and important to him and I both, and he wanted to be a part of it. Our plan had been to do this in the Spring of next year. If the family approves, the idea will be in memory of and honor of him.

He was a very humble man, a very good man - he was never one to ask for anything but would have appreciated any donations and memorials, but I feel like he would have also said if you really want to honor his memory - love your family, be accepting, understanding of, and helpful to those that have special needs, and make it a point to help someone every day, even if its a simple compliment or a smile; try to live your life in a way that encourages others and lifts them up.

Nice!!! We have several supercharged ones in Speed Advocates, a driving group me and my son go out on drives with. They can get pretty fast. Nice grouping of muscle cars. I have had several myself from the 60's thought the 90s. No 2000's hot rods but my 2019 Flex should be around 440-450WHP to all 4 wheels when I get it back, which will be fun. Major sleeper even with my loudish exhaust. A few guys online with the same set up are running 12.2.-12.3 like 116mph trap. Not bad for brick on wheels.

Amazingly said. You sir, are an amazing person yourself and totally understand where you are coming from with letting them grieve before talking about things like that!
