I got my sex hormones tested since disapearance of my morning erections when I took pregnenlone pills, and it turns out I do indeed high have progesterone but normal estrogen? I realise this is the normal e2 essay, however in the uk there is no sensitive, so it turns out I may have high prog/estrogen

I was taking t3 only for high RT3 which will explain high SHBG. I have noticed shrinkage and lack of morning erections, I have stopped the preg pills for a number of weeks

PROGESTERONE 10.7 [ 0.7 - 4.3 ] H

TESTOSTERONE 23.6 [ 7.6 - 31.4 ] N
LH 3.9 [ 1.7 - 8.6 ] N
FSH 4.2 [ 1.5 - 12.4 ] N
SHBG 50 [ 16 - 55] N
PROLACTIN 221 [ 86 - 324 ] N
17-Beta OESTRADIOL 70 [ 44 - 156 ] N

Hi mrmagoo2010,

Yes just stop the pregnenlone pills I don't take the pills it turns into E2 and you can get high Prog. levels.

I use Life-Flo Pregnenlone cream after about 4 months my Prog. levels went up by converting from the Preg. Cream. I feel much better with my Prog. levels up doing it this way.

You need to stop that T3 only to lower RT3 the best way to lower high RT3 is to find out why it's high an infection or a bad gut will make this high.

When you drive up SHBG doing T3 only your Testosterone can look good on labs but it's all bound up from the high SHBG and not working.

Free Testosterone is about 1 to 2% of all the T in your body and when your SHBG is high your Free Testosterone will fall very low.

Also high Prog. levels can lower E's and if you have flashing that is the cause.

Go to this link and read up on RT3.

Or buy the book "Tired Thyroid" it's a great book and I know Barbara.
