Jbry is pinning now?! Nice! I've been gone for awhile, last time we spoke you were seriously contemplating it! Awesome! how long now and what are you doing? I finally started as well, been on TRT for about 8 weeks now. OP, what gauge needle are you using? I've only had PIP once, and it was my 2nd injection when I pinned and just plunged away. I've found that the slower I push the plunger the better. If I just dump it fast, it feels like I've been shot for a few days. I'm using quads and delts. 23g/1" in quads and 25g/ 5/8" in delts. I've yet to try the glutes. Seems too awkward....
23g, and I have somebody pinning me I haven't done myself yet

Yesterday I decided I would go ahead and take my anadrol...bad choice. Couldn't sleep for **** last night tossed and turned, my joints hurt, **** this never again I'm gonna flush these little ****ers down the toilet or somethin

I've never experienced test flu, but I get severe upper respiratory flu symptoms for a week if I use any amount of Anastrozole! I've used it around 10 times, and get the same symptoms every time (fever (100F+), joint pain, headache, severe sinus congestion and lung congestion, fatigue etc. Very odd

Did my first pin last night before the gym. Did it in my delt cuz I was being a big wuss lol my shoulder now feels like it's got a charlie horse. Did a 250mg pin. 5'8 178. I have 25mg anadrol tabs too but can't decide if I want to use them or save them. From what I read 50mg ed of anadrol may be a bit much for me, so was wondering if just one 25mg tab would be safe or will I see plenty of results with 500mg test-e a week? And also when the hell does this Charlie horse in my delt go away I was supposed to do chest tri tonight
500mg per week of test for your first cycle would be plenty. Your body will change drastically on it being new to aas. No need to waste your money on additional gear your first go around. Sometimes less is more.

how much anadrol did you take. your very hard headed if you took 50mgs on your first go lol
yeah i took 50 lol it was awful man i was still having stomach pains up until last night. And woke up this morning still sore from Mondays pin. I hope I start enjoying this soon all I've been doing is hobbling around complaining about being sore from the pin or sick from test flu n anadrol. Ibuprofen has become my friend

Don't take NSAIDs with orals (or ideally ever if your goal is to build muscle)

Shouldn't have for a first cycle anyway man. It's completely unnecessary. You will not make any greater gains stacking compounds your first time versus just sticking to test. It's the same as any substance, your body eventually won't react as well to it anymore.. that's when you stack. I see this all the time, everyone gets gung ho with their first cycle and all you do is piss your money away.
First cycle: test e or c at 500mg per week
Second cycle: test at 500 and deca at 400 per week.
Then after that, maybe try an oral. But honestly, you most likely wouldn't need it even then.

I like your logic. I let somebody more experienced convince me to get the drol. Had to learn the hard way experience doesn't always make somebody an expert

There isn't anything wrong with kick starting a cycle with a fast starting oral.

well what are the other options?
I guess that would depend on your reasoning behind pumping a foreign substance into your body, and ultimately, your desired end state. There are tons of alternatives to steroids (although most of them won't produce such drastic results over the same duration).

No, there isn't. However, for a first cycle it is completely unnecessary. Anadrol is the most potent oral m mass builder you can get.. and making it the hardest on your body. It's completely unnecessary. If you need a boost on your first cycle, use test prop for the first two to three weeks while the longer ester kicks in, at around 100mg eod. Why stack a bunch of compounds when you'll get the same out of less?

I also just wanna say thanks for all the help and you guys checking back in on the thread. I have the app on my phone so I defiantly will keep logging and asking questions throughout the rest of the cycle

This is certainly true; it's not strong mg for mg, but at a dose of 50 mg it's pretty good and probably comparable to 20 of SD or 30 of dbol. I've heard of ppl running 100+ mg of a bombs before; not sure how smart that is, but <shrug>

If you're buying legitimately-dosed A-bombs (which is unlikely these days), you'd be surprised.

Regardless if its from a pharmaceutical company or ug lab, it doesn't change the pharmacokinetics.

It's anadrol 50, not anadrol 5.

Personally, I wouldn't work out 6 days on 1 off. Your CNS is taking an absolute beating and I wonder about your recovery and growth associated with that. Give some time to recovery. You need more rest days man.

In my experience it's hard to maintain high intensity on your lifts with more than 80 sets of 8-12 reps a week.

I really should have done 3x10 for most of those especially the assistance lifts, the first is Just a super light warm up, then 3 hard working sets

You're only running test right?

Have you thotght about a progeam like DC or FST-7? I've found FST-7 awesome for on cycle training; it's very hypertrophic, fast, intense, and takes an hour or less per workout but will leave you exhausted and totally spent.

When not doing strength training, I prefer the 10-20 rep range on just about everything. 15-20 for legs because they grow better with higher reps for whatever reason, and maybe 12-15 for upper body stuff.

Personally, I have combined 5/3/1 and Y3T and love it. I wont ever have to leave this program since it includes everything and is constantly changing from week to week. Been on it for 3 months now and still aint used to it.

Seriously , I had a long list of suggestions but every one of them was covered by the knowledgeable guys above. You got some really solid advice in this thread. Here's a recap

- Less time in the gym, more intensity.
- I recommend only one set at a low rep(<8)... 12-15 range seems to always force better form and stimulate growth for me.15+ for legs, 30+ for calves(personal preference) I only do 2 working sets. 3-4 is too much for me.
- 5 intense training days a week is plenty.
- DC helped me realize a lot about training volume and how to put size on fast.

When I see training programs with 30+ sets 6 days a week, I think one of several things:

1) they're not lifting enough weight or with enough intensity.

2) they're gonna post asking for help rehabbing their injury soon.

3) they're running test, tren, hgh, and have 9-10 hours a night to sleep.

4) they have once in a generation genetics.

I've found 1 or 2 to be true 99% of the time,

True story. They are usually the guys that eat like crap and don't run post cycles and after 6 months of training they look better than your 3 years. I truly hate these guys.

Yeah at my old gym there was this dude that was like 6'6 and 175 and in a year he was like 250.

Clearly he was using some legit gear but still, wtf. He looked like a jacked version of xerxes from the 300 lol

yes 500mg test cyp, I mean my lifts never take longer than hour and 15min. It's more of a pride thing for me I just love being in the gym, I do sleep about 8 hours a night, sometimes more sometimes less depending on how much homework I do or weed I smoke haha. But I'll give you an example of a run thru of a typical back/bi day like l did yesterday.
Arrive at gym, 5 min warm up on the bike.
I start with barbell row. Warm up set 135 for 10.
Then first working set was 165 for 8, then 175 for 8, and finally 185 for 8. Then 3 hard working sets for the rest of the workouts. Usually only my 1st lift of the day I do 4 sets because that is the only one I need a legit warm up for

Also I really just don't enjoy lifting 15-20 reps in a set that's not forearms or calves. I like doing heavy weight around 8 reps, I cut my teeth with blood and guts. Obviously I can't keep up 6 days a week forever this is just while I'm on cycle. Normally off cycle I run variations of Dorian Yates blood and guts. That's just what works for me and what I enjoy doing. I'm not trying to be a bodybuilder by any means, I just like the primal feeling I get from throwing heavy weights around that's what got me into lifting in the first place 9 years ago

This is from a month before my first pin. 5'8 175. 305 bench, 405 squat and at one point 455 deadlift but that was a couple years ago at a bw of 163

8 x 120

7 set:
7 x 12 bb row (155) 30 sec rest between sets.

Out of the gym in 45 min

15 min walk to and from gym with 88 lb x-vest.

Ok here is my rant about volume training.

I believe it to be superior to strength training for the purposes of building mass. In general, volume shouldnt be measured by sets and reps, but rather the TYPE of intensity experiences. To me, volume is about focus and TUT.

"Symptoms" of volume training:

Hard breathing
Intense burning sensation during and shortly after each set
Pumps that are nearly debilitating, especially when on gear
Profuse sweating is common in some
So much lactic acid that nauseous feelings come and go
Zapped, euphoric feeling about 20 - 45 minutes after last set


Volume can be done with almost any rep scheme, depending on ur tempo. Generally speaking, it requires less weight, impeccable form & targeted training. When I lift volume style, all I focus on is "feeling" the stress and burn in the desired muscle. When I strength train, I think "Form! Heave! Form! Heave!"

I agree that you can do volume with a lot of different set and rhythm routines, but IMO most people have a limit to the amount of volume their CNS will allow per week after which point they run the risk of injury or lack of progression at the very least. If you're lifting with enough intensity the vast majority of people WONT BE ABLE TO continue that level of training going forwards; unless you're one of the aboveformentioned genetic freaks.

The person who is pinning me may not be doing it anymore and I literally have nobody else to do it...what should I do? If I have to stop early after 4 weeks do I still have to PCT in the same way as if I did the full cycle? I will still have the vial I've been pulling from plus two unopened so I will be able to try again...if it comes down to it

quit being a p*ssy and do it yourself if you want to cycle. you really didn't have any business getting someone else to do it in the first place. the less other people know about your personal sh1t, the better. all they do is use it against you eventually.
I love stickin a needle in me. Today I said F it and just stuck with the 21. I'm alive, I'm alive, I'm alive.....

First time I ever pinned I forgot to change the needle from the 19g I drew with.... Have never made the same mistake again lol. It was memorable.

Drea, just nut up and pin yourself man. You already know the process and what it feels like. Nothing is going to change. You either want it bad enough or you don't.
