I can relate. If you ever go thru fairview heights, IL there's a restaurant called Lotawata Creek. You'd think it's a chain but it's one-of-a-kind. Right off 64 coming out of STL. Portions are huge & prices are average to cheap; they charge if you wanna split a plate the portions are so big. A couple could easily split a meal; they have a burger called the big heart attack. Anyway, my fav is the Big Hillbilly Pork Sandwich. Fried pork tenderloins in batter, smothered in melted cheese on thick buttery texas toast, & dripping with chunky sausage gravy. Comes with a trough of more gravy for dunking & a whole separate plate for the pile of fries. I've NEVER been able to kill more than half in a sitting, & I was stuffed. For like $12 maybe.
