Was really good session. Funny thing though, it was very damp this morning and the thermo/chill aspect of stimul8 had me so ready for a hot shower when I was done. I was get all hot and sweaty, then feel the chill over come me. Add to that the dampness and I at times was chilled to the bone. Was an interesting thing. (or perhaps I am just weird).

Focus, energy were excellent. I certainly love the full scoop. Mind you I am quite sure my tolerance to Stimul8 has really increased. That said, I am still feeling the full effects off a scoop and that to me is a total win.

Haven't heard of this one.
When I read an article about training and in the summary it names specific products I should use.....I promptly close the tab.

Sales gimmick
Oh ya they are totally pushing some product but take that out of the equation and it is just mountain dog training is it not?

I hear ya and dont like that aspect either. Dan, Breezy, Bean and Kleen all using forms of Meadows though and with success so must have its merits (hold the sales pitch)

Me? No. Not yet. Couple more weeks and I go back to FST7 though.
I hope to read/watch through that this weekend for future ideas.

Getting stale because you don't feel it as much? Are you repeating the same exercise every week?

Defnitely feeling it and seeing it but I am starting to get bored, perhaps some overtraining, but don't think so.

It has product pimping to pay for the fact you are getting it for free. Ignore the product part and enjoy the free program. He is sponsored by them so he pimps the products. Kind of like being a rep for a supplement company and putting their products in a log or logging a product.

Of course there's product pimpming. He's sponsored by them, get over that and read the article. It's more about flooding the body with nutrients, pre intra and the style of the workout. Than which product you use.
If you belonged to his website you'd see that not people even use that stuff but are still having success with the program.

Lol yes we are ;-). Not really I just feel there's way more to it that the little bit of product pimping amigo. I so understand the product pumping I just push that aside especially with Meadow's stuff. Just didn't want anyone to disregard the programs because of that is all :)

So last night was one of my neighbours annual kid-free xmas parties. Was a blast. I haven't really had anything to drink in about 3 months so was nice to get out have a few beers and some crown over ice (did not get drunk but enjoyed myself - and really needed to unwind). I didn't get home till 5am and was very determined to have that 'gotta work hard if you wanna play hard mentality' today.

Went like this....

Dosed 1 of a scoop of Stimul8 upon rising (11am)

5km run through park - took a different route which ends with the last km being on an incline. Had a pretty good cramp going most of this run too.

I wanted some Crown so bad the other night at my wifes work Christmas party, but the drive was too far. I don't remember the last time I had some. :(

Nice punishment!

I rarely partake. But good call on the no drinking and driving!

That's a good thing.
Agreed, although the odd time nice to have a drink. I have had a ton of stress lately, it was nice to have a few drinks, and just relax with friends (kinda escape life for a few hours) ... not that you need alcohol for that but I am sure you know what i mean.

Way to get in there, sounds like the only thing that was effected was your hydration during the run. Well done as always!

Good workout, lats were fried after the stretchers.

Upcoming plan is to do arms tomorrow (GVT style) to finish this off properly. Then Thursday will be an off day, and MD training will start on Friday or Saturday. I am not sure if I will do 2 on 1 off or 4 on 1 off. Will see how it goes.

My biggest issue is the call for leg presses. Any advice as to what to put in its place would be appreciate it. Most of the other exercises I can sub things in, or have a work around. I do have a rack and and a smith so I could potentially use the smith bar for leg pressing, but that feels a little unsafe and awkward.

Nice work here Wasme. Still jealous if your presses.

I recommend 15 on, 1 off.

MD doesn't squat? (Haven't read it yet). The squat can't be subsituted?

I do not utilize a leg press either
instead, I work in leg extensions and DB/BB stationary lunges and walking lunges
well no walking lunges any longer (no driveway to walk down anymore) :p

Week 1 there is hack squats, week 2 regular squats. But I imagine swapping out the leg press for a squat in week 1 would work.

15 on, 1 off.. my name is not Breezy!
