Thanks... why did he say something similar

Yah size increase has been impressive..

Just the walking yesterday 10k, walking a bit slower to give the legs a break.

Another very good nights sleep with HGHPro, good recovery going on and I am feeling better each week.

Oh the libido has definitely dropped off, a bit of a relief to tell you the truth. It's been elevated for so long it was really annoying at times. Then at the start of this run it turned nasty. Now I am more normal so must be starting to get some shut down.

Is there any advantage in starting my PCT products a bit early?
Yeah I am always busting his balls about being able to take naps. I have not been able to do that in years.:(

Why drop protein and increase carbs?

I would figure it be more productive to drop your fat in relation to carb increase, keep protein the same, and take nutrient partitioners to capitalize on the influx of carbs and protein. The increase in insulin will allow for even greater anabolic potential.

Or will the increase in carbs allow a smaller amount of protein to be just as effective? So by keeping protein intake moderate ad carbs high....you still increase protein synthesis while keeping calories lower and staving off sloppy weight gain?
It's a very low risk type of protein cycling, seems to work pretty good. I am only droping it by about 80 grams and the extra carbs have me covered also. I should actually be keeping fat lower as well, but this is more of a lifestyle choice. I will be dieting for 20 week come the new year, gotta get my fun in when I can.

I agree with TG, with what I have read in my research for the most part starting your PCT before the androgens are out of your system is waisting the SERMS. The hormone levels are still to high and the SERM will not be able to have the desired effect on your HPTA. There is some down regulation of the effects of the SERM over time and it is thought that starting before it is effective to do so just lessens the effectiveness of the initial response to the SERM. I am sure there are different schools of thought on this but most things I have read go along with that line of thinking. Which is why say for Sustanon 250 or whatever you see guys waiting 2 weeks after the last shot before starting the PCT.

dreaaammm weaver, i believe you can get me through the niiiigghhhht ;)

sorry i had to..

i read about your protein cycling. when you do that your total cals stay about the same because of the added carbs correct? so its still muscle sparing because unless you drop your cals your body wont burn muscle for energy. am i on the right page there?

Yah that's part of the low risk. That and the fact it's only 2 days.

Definitely sounds interesting. It just reminds me of carb cycling for my CKD diet. My cals shoot up WAY past maintenance, i pick up like 5 lbs and drop it in 2 days. When im off of the diet im on im gonna give that a shot. not until i am leaner tho lol.. i cant afford to bump up carbs too often these days ;)

When my son was bulking for football they gave him this type of diet. I like the way it fits lifestyle wise and it works pretty well. I have kept the carbs more moderate to get some recomp in during the week. That is the time where I keep the protein high. I am still on a calorie surplus but not a big one and the Epi and exercise routine are recomping me while I make impressive size gains. Win, Win Win it's a good off season plan to keep sanity and still make progress.

Thanks, a lot of years doing it natural does help but I had some help as well, I didn't know how much to increase my protein intake and I really had to research my PCT. I may be a bit overkill but better safe at my age. I just want to bounce back as quick as possible, heck I want to continue to make progress during PCT if I can.

Some will tell you that it's advantageous to start PCT protocol during the last week of your cycle. And it does make some sense thinking you will get a head start on recovery. But I've never utilized this protocol myself. I've always waited until the last dose of my cycle to start up PCT. Shutdown is unavoidable when running these compounds. But you will recover with that PCT you have laid out.

Good luck DW. You're doing great with this run!!!:head:

No I don't really feel the need anymore, I know I am significantly bigger and a fair bit leaner. My guesstimates will be pretty accurate.

SC, since he is in a protein surplus already and even when lowering on the weekends he isn't going below his normal protein requirement levels there is not an issue. Also carbs are more protein sparing than protein itself. The benefit of the higher protein is really just to take advantage of the increased protein synthesis on cycle, and not any type of muscle sparing effort. Increased carbs will get plenty of nutrients to muscle as well and a nice change of pace from a more carb restrictive diet. Plus the glycogen pumps are really nice if you don't spill over but you already know this.

Last night was stellar, I absolutely crushed it. Arms and shoulder giant sets same weight but was able to get more reps with the drops and the intensity and pump was awesome. So much pump it really started to hurt....

Monica (my trainee) just came back from Hawaii and hadn't seen me for 2 weeks and pretty much freaked at my size. She's still looking good by the way :)

Waist is getting smaller and upper body is getting bigger. Abs are becoming more and more visible. I almost want to say metamorphisis but I am be exagerating things due to excitement.

Hey Doug, I know you dont want to do a picture shirtless due to some of the issues but can we maybe see a pic of you in a tank top to show how you look with some good mass on you? I know you must be looking really impressive in a tank.

Yah the stuff kicks azz in the gains and recomp department let me tell you... I added Derma which I am sure has helped. My diet has been tight but I have been eating my fair share to take advantage of the increase in protein sythesis.

Funny thing, I thought I was feeling a bit shut down earlier this week, even he boys seemed to have less volume and my libido seemed quite diminished, but I'm back baby!! Odd, could that be the Derma kicking in cuz the boys are big and brassy again and the libido is back up.

I would imagine it's very possible that the Dermacrine is helping out in that area.
Are you also going to run some Dermacrine in your PCT? It sure couldn't hurt.

I should run out before then but I have such a extensive PCT I am not really worried.

Now that I am not shut down like I thought I may consider increasing to 60mg... what do you think?

I would say bump the Epi on up to 60 mgs. and judge how you feel. The sore joints could be from the anti-estrogenic effects of Epi. This can be countered by increasing the fish oil dosage up to 12 grams or even higher.
You could also supplement with some MSM to help out with the joints. I'm not a firm believer in glucosamine chondroitin. Studies are inconclusive with that compound. But MSM does indeed work. Race horse owners love this stuff for their horses' joints.

You will experience further and increased shut-down by increasing the Epi dosage but like I said before, these compounds shut you down even if you don't necessarily "feel" shutdown.

I still say the gains will outweigh the sides and that you should go for it!!!

You'll be fine. I have no doubts. Even though it sounds high, that's not an overly-aggressive dosage.

I ran Epi @60 mgs. along with D-Bol @40 mgs. for 6 weeks and it was the best oral-only cycle I had done.

Now that I'm on injectable Testosterone, I'd love to do that oral protocol all over again. Would be even better with the Test-base.

Oops.........I think I just talked myself into it.

Very sold leg workout up to 640 on the leg press and would have gone higher but my legs are so stiff from all the walking that the first set is pretty rough. It is within a Superset as well so have to take that into account.

I was up 20 lbs on standing calf raise as well.

All the way through there as increased reps and quality was as good as it gets.

Now the big news the weigh in!! drum roll please 237!! Up 5 lbs from last week and I am leaner!! That's 7 lbs total and I've lost 3-5 lbs of fat at least!! You guys know how dry these gains are too.... Still 2 weeks left too!!
