Wow, not that was a hell of a successful load!! I go to the gym last night to train the girls and look in the mirror and I was huge!! I weighed in later and I was back up to 205.5, 13 lbs gained!! I knew then that I hit the nail right on the head. Yah I was right.. high glycemic junky foods are key to this method.

Now the flushing ... 7 to 8 litres per day, 40 ounces yams and lean beef 4 times per day. The first load of yams is in the oven now.

Good stuff DW... I thought you are trying to get some sleep, what are you doing up at 4:30 AM big guy? I thought that HGHPro had you down for the count?

Damn, Doug!! Way to go...by the way, how many yams equal your 40 ounces? Help an ignorant brotha out. LOL!

A 10 oz yam is small to medium. I eat one with each meal, 4 meals a day... for a total of 40 oz's ed..

It fluctuates between 330-335. My BF is 20-21%, which I hope to get down to around 12-13% during my stack starting Monday. I'm just getting the final blueprint down before I log it. I still want to weigh over 300 lbs (thus the recomp), but more definition. I'm pretty certain I can achieve this with everyone's help.

DW remember there is always the hot bath if needed and if not that you can slow water consumption to just sipping the afternoon before the show and dry out with out dehydrating.

Yes I don't deplete water till the day of the show. I won't be dehydrated. I am getting a base spray tan tomorrow at noon so I will have to ask about a bath.

Flushing has gone pretty much as planned I am clearing up ..about halfway there after the first day. I will start to peak on Friday so the only trick is maintaining it. I will just continue with the yams, I may use some rice preshow with my 4 PM. If I do go flat then I am supposed to eat fast food like pizza...

I don't doubt about 1 cup (dry) white rice once cooked will fill you up. I had it last Friday night as a mini-carb load and I literally filled up within an hour with the help of 3 Glycobol. I couldn't believe that a higher GI CHO would work that fast but it did. I kept my water intake to a minimum and put very little weight on, just looked very full.

I like your plan though I am not sure how Stoked fits into the mix; just have not used it yet and not sure of all its attributes. Surely the PM and Prime will have you rock hard after a carb feed like that and the Glycobol will have it all going to your muscles. I guess the key is mitigating the water intake to prevent spill over, or does that not happen that fast? Still learning about all of this timing with carb refeeds in a contest setting.

He intentionally spilled over early then flushes stays hydrated and just maintains his carbs. Minor adjustments can be made the last day to correct things if not dry enough slowing water consumption, if not full enough more carbs leading up to prejudging which would also dry him out a little more if he was still not dry enough by pulling anything sub q into the muscle filling him up, increasing vascularity and cuts.

Well I would assume the idea is the Resveratrol in it because it kind of helps a little in not retaining water.

Yah I will deplete water intake the day of the show...till then it's flushing and 8 litres per day.

Little bit of a scare last night, I was steadily improving then last posing practice we noticed an increase in loose skin and less striations around the chest. I think I am onto the problem though, carb intake was a little low... I have made the adjustments and we'll see if that's the problem. Some definite signs of leaning when I got up this morning however...

Remember nervous energy can burn an extra 500-1000 cals in a day keep an eye on that weight.

yah nipped in the bud, I am eating about 5 oz extra yam in between meals.... so I am getting carbs every 2 hours...

Got the first stage of my tan done, she came right to the door with a tent and a sprayer, really love the job she did. Tan hides a few problems and makes me look bigger.

Thanks for all your support guys, it really means a lot to me and it's gotten me through some tough times.

The prognosis is good, maybe not as good as I had hoped... the loose skin situation is going to give me some problems. I continue to look leaner and I still have the Prep-H to apply and another round of tanning, both will help immensely. I believe I will be a serious contender however.

The final day as far as diet is concerned I will be eating fish and rice and will be drinking minimal water. I will be taking some rice in between meals as PM tends to eat up carbs.

I am not nervous at all so far and don't know if I actually will get nervous, frankly I can't see what to be nervous about. My work is pretty much done and I'm going to go and have fun. If this isn't fun there is no reason to do it. I look good, and what have have accomplished is noteworthy. Close to 3 years ago when I started training again I was 280 very fat pounds and here I stand 5-6% body fat at 197. I'm 51 and trained like a warrior and endured many hardships. I have nothing to be nervous about, if I can't appreciate myself for what I have accomplished then what's the point.

All that being said, with the extra rice and supp plan I think I can still improve my look over the day and come in peaked, so who knows... I am going to got out fighting...

Well to make it short, I got there and was the only Grandmaster and I wasn't having any of that so I decided to compete in the younger Masters division and I was up a against the guy who won the open. So I had to settle for second, as this guy was amazing. I don't know why a guy like this goes to a regional show but there was no beating him this night. He was the best their. I felt very good about my performance and am glad I had the balls to compete rather than take a victory that would mean nothing. Everybody said I did very well so can't wait for my pics...

The show was a blast, we had a great time, small shows are great!

You made the right decision. A hard-fought 2nd place is better than a hollow victory.
