HCG-what to expect

I've been on compounded gel for a year.

What should I expect from 250iu's of HCG 2x a week (ie 500iu per week).

Any thoughts or related comments appreciated.

HCG should kickstart your gonads to begin producing test again. However, there is a lot of potential side affects like gyno that I've found. I'm going to move to clomid for my next PCT restart.

Since it's water based, many ppl feel it immediately and get a hard on... but I've never had that happen.

After about 6 weeks your balls should be just about the right size, possibly not even that.

Your dose is 500iu/week (is rather small)

In healthy testis, the replacement dose of HCG is about 309iu/EOD, that is 309*7/2=1081iu/week

Per reports of other people dose,
(Phil) 400x2*7/3=1867iu/week, he is secondary and his testis provide partial testosterone supply.

colkurtz_spf and jinxie are secondaries, use much larger doses of HCG, their testis provide all testosterone with that stimulation.

I believe that anyone with testies that are still working to an extent should begin with something in the range of 500 IUs per week if they are also taking Test; otherwise, you are likely to end up with a major E2 issue, thus requiring an AI. No need to take an AI unless you have to. Silly to take more of a med than you need, particularly if it is going to invite neeing more of yet another med. In other words, I do not think your dose is small as you are taking compounded test.

Jinxie 1000*7/3=2333iu/week (only, no Test)

(Phil) 400x2*7/3=1867iu/week (+ about 150mg/week test)

you are taking 25% more than Phil

AnotherOldGuy is taking 500iu + Tgel

AnotherOldGuy could probably ease on Tgel and increase HCG.
