The low fat and low sodium chicken cans are great. They practically last forever too. The ones I have expire 2008 lol.mtruther said:My personal favorite has become cans of chicken or turkey breast. You can usually find them with pop-tops (like on a Coke can), so no need for a can opener. They tend to stink less than tuna, too. About 30-35 grams of protein a pop, and you can easily cart them around.
Just stock up when they go on sale.
Where do you get those, the ones I get from Costco are great but they are LOADED with sodium. They are the Chicken of the sea brand.darius said:The low fat and low sodium chicken cans are great. They practically last forever too. The ones I have expire 2008 lol.
Beef Jerky is a good low-fat source of protien (and sodium lol).
The ones I get I think are the brand "Valley Fresh". 98% fat free and low sodium, 30 grams of protein for a small can with the ez open stud on top. I get them at my local Tom Thumb (a Safeway grocery store).Iron Warrior said:Where do you get those, the ones I get from Costco are great but they are LOADED with sodium. cottage cheese, brewer's yeast, fruit (slices of banana, or blueberry, or something), yogurt, scoop or two of protein powder
mix em together and freeze
