X1-KT: Couple of questions?

Does anybody know when during the day it's best to apply X1-KT ie morning or night?

Also I've never ran any PH's before so would it be best to start @ 1ml for week 1 or go straight in at 1.5ml because it's so mild?

Oh and one last question, I was thinking of going above maintenance on the calories to optimise any potential muscle gain. My main goal is to reduce BF and achieve a more lean, vascular physique but I was thinking with the suppression of cortisol this would still be achievable above maintenance?
