If I recall correctly myostatin and interefering with it can cause cardiac problems. Still a long way away.

I can see it now, all the b.s. companies pushing the Myostatin protein mixes with this kid on the label. We won't need PHs if this proves out. Unfortunately genetic altering is years away as a pill or shot. Why take drugs if you can do genetic altering??? I'm sure the govt will have a say in this one too!!!

He is not lucky - he will most likely die in his teens. Ever see what happened to the mice they turnded this "gene" off in? There organs could not keep up with the muscle growth. He better hope they can turn the gene back on or he will not live long.
