Where to obtain knowledge?

This maybe should I have gone in the OFF TOPIC section. I was wondering how many of you actually know a lot about PH/AAS? You see I guess my problem is that when I research and look through posts, a lot of it goes over my head. I've never taken a chemistry class (although I plan to), so I don't understand some stuff. Understanding the effects of a product is one thing, but I want to intellectually know everything scientific about PHs/AAS. Anybody know where I can go?
