Teeth enamel

Asking as the sports science is often ahead of the medical. My teeth are wearing down from grinding and losing enamel. Of course a night guard and wondering anything supplement related. I see there is a trial going on for building enamel with a gel I believe. Just know we have some really smart product developers. Thank you in advance

Are you sure you grind? Or is this what your dentist told you? Because they LOVE selling $5 mouthguards for $850. A $20 Sisu mouthguard on Amazon will be more comfortable and work just as well, when in doubt.

Hydroxyapetite and flouride are the 2 things I know of that remineralize teeth.

^ I second nano hydroxyapatite toothpaste

Been using it all year and have next to no sensitivity. Stronger teeth all around.

does it contain fluroide? or contain any hormone disruptors? does it destroy the nitrate reducing enzyme in your saliva that is neccesary for proper nictric oxide conversion? can you get it internationally on iherb.com? In EU, all official tooth pastes are fluoride based. And I really wanna avoid fluoride so I brush with coconut oil or activated charcoal normally

I found one to order... but interested about the sciene behind it first.

Depends on the brand. I use Boka. No fluoride.

How many ingredients in that one. Less is better. I found one locally with 17 ingredients in it lol. Splat Biocalcium Hydroxyapatite

Would you use a toothpaste with that many ingredients yourself? Chatgpt said there was concern for one ingredient only. sodium methylparaben (weak estrogenic activity at very high doses), but toothpaste exposure is extremely low. It said most ingredients where unlikely to destroy the nitrate reducing enzyma.

I know one that is not perticularly good though. Sodium bicarbonate can cause tooth sensitivity.

  1. Aqua
  2. Hydrated Silica
  3. Hydrogenated Starch Hydrolysate
  4. PEG-8
  5. Sodium Coco-Sulfate
  6. Cellulose Gum
  7. Aroma
  8. Calcium Lactate
  9. CI 77891
  10. Sodium Bicarbonate
  11. Sodium Methylparaben
  12. Hydroxyapatite
  13. PVP
  14. Sodium Saccharin
  15. Fish Oil
  16. Papain
  17. Limonene

Back to the main topic if anyone has anything to add
the main thing to think about is the product recommended contains baking soda (for whitening effect only) which breaks down enamel in sensitive people. ask your personal dentist if thats the right way to go? it's a tooth paste brother. either a hit or a miss. so you try obviously and the next dentist appointment you will know what went right or wrong with your enamel

1) oligopeptide p11-4 (you’ll have to get this from Switzerland due to patents, or perhaps China if you’re comfortable reconstituting)
2) Novamin (taken off market in North America, but available from Europe, even Amazon UK)
3) BioMin C (chloro calcium phospho silicate, this is an analogue of Novamin that is currently available in the US under the name Dr Collin’s BioMin Restore Toothpaste)

Other things likely mentioned above:
  • Nano hydroxyapatite
  • Xylitol
  • Theobromine

If your grinding, get a night guard. No supplement on earth is gonna help prevent this damage.
I am glad I started using one 25 years ago. At 58, I still have my teeth! All the best!

I ordered and started using it now. Nice stuff.
at least tell me you're using plastic free (bamboo + horse bristle hair) toothbrush. enamel health is one thing. but ducking micro plastics right into your blood stream & testicles is another one. and I assume you're going for higher testosterone so trust me - it will be a game changer. no nylon tooth brush because nylon's contain the plastics' as well.
