man...im kinda bummed im missing the train on this one.....ive never been a non-responder to anything that actually works....im hearing such great things about this stuff....sinner any ideas on why one wouldnt see any effects? i mean i get nothing....no stim, no uplifted mood, no appetite suppression....ive dosed from my bottle and sample packs.....
You know, it goes by both individual tolerances as well as your size. Stimulants are by far the toughest things to dose.
A couple things to attribute to this. I've tried all of these, and they've all made a pretty big difference on how well SX has worked on those particular days.
-1- Don't eat before taking SX, and don't eat for at least 30 minutes after taking SX. On days when I take SX after breakfast, it almost feels like I've wasted it - it really is a significant difference. One thing you can try is setting your alarm clock 15 minutes or so earlier - when it goes off, take the SX, roll over, and hit the 'snooze' button.
-2- When you burn calories, the end product is burnt up ATP - adenosine tri-phosphate. When ATP is used up, it becomes adenosine (no-phosphate), which is an inhibitory neurotransmitter. The idea is that when you start running out of phosphates (energy) the adenosine builds up and tells your body that it's time to take a nap. With SX only having about 100mg of xanthines (caffeine and family) that are also time-released, it might not be enough xanthine to get you going. From my experiences, a small cup of tea or coffee provides enough xanthines to get the SX effects kicked up and going, on days when it doesn't even seem like it is going to work. It's almost like there's an activation barrier that must be overcome.
-3- Adrenal fatigue could be quite strong with you. What's unique about SX is that a greater portion of it's profile works with your adrenal gland, as opposed to mimicking it. If your adrenals suck, I'd have to imagine so would SX. I've tried a few times taking 500mg of Rhodiola in the morning, and have noticed SX to "kick in" faster, work a little stronger, and last a little bit longer.
-4- Lastly (and this is only with regards to appetite suppression) is the time of day in which you work out. When I first started taking it, I noticed no appetite suppression whatsoever, in fact, I felt as though I was even more hungry than usual. It didn't make any sense to me at first, but then one morning I slept in, and didn't have enough time to workout before work. That day, I skipped 3 meals in a row simply because I wasn't hungry. Working out, greatly increasing oxygen consumption; however, so does SX - I've gotten a lot of feedback of users experiencing heavy breathing from simple activities. You combine those two together, and it seems as though it's propagating the increased appetite you get from intense exercise.
