This is just a suggestion, but I find it appropriate and it usually will land you some freebies/priority as a customer. If you have a regular source, especially someone you deal with regularly such as a smaller, closed source, send him/her a Christmas card with a little cash in it. When you have a trust worthy, quality connection, it’s worth the gesture and usually comes back to you 10 fold. I do this every year and I regularly receive a few freebies in my orders all year long, along with very fast processing and even upgraded shipping for free on occasion. It pays to have a relationship with those you do business with.
