Rusfertide - The Hemochromatosis Eliminating Messiah

Good news for those of us suffering from rather extreme hemoglobin/low ferritin issues on TRT or anabolics.

Introducing Rusfertide, peptide and Hepicidin memetic. I'm not going to go into extreme detail over the science behind TRT suppressing Hepicidin, leading to a cycle of low ferritin and high hemoglobin, but a good research area is vorck. com

Takeda is applying for FDA approval now, and the peptide has shown to safely lower and manage hemoglobin while in theory maintaining much healthier ferritin levels.

For those of us who cannot control hemoglobin by blood donation alone, or chronically have less than 20 ferritin level, this is the holy grail.

I've been reaching out to peptide APIs to see if anyone would be willing to synth for research or studies in TRT patients, and encouraging Takeda to consider expansion of use for secondary polythycemia.

So far there is very little interest on the peptide market as they believe demand is low.
