Protein profiles

I've always been into exercise science rather than supplement science so I'm looking for a little help. I've been doing alot of research on protein profiles to see what some of the better protein powders are but idk how you guys read the label on a tub of protein and know if it is quality or not. Anybody have any good reads or articles that helps to explain why one whey protein isolate is better than another company's why protein isolate? I understand that for example pure ON whey is alot better than muscle milk whey because it has much less fillers and preservatives but with all that to the side why is ON Whey better than muscle milk whey?

Btw I'm not looking for examples just want somebody to help teach me how to read the protein profile of a protein powder

Thanks.

When it comes to different forms (ie casein, whey, isolate and etc) it mainly comes down to personal preference in shake thickness and satiety.

One thing you want to watch out for in the label is the addition of taurine, glycine and creatine; as they will skew the actual amount of protein.
