Phenibut Interactions

Wasn't sure where to put this so if a mod needs to move it, no problem. Just seeing if anyone knows if there's any negative interactions between phenibut and blood pressure meds like telmisartan. The reason I ask is I know telmisartan and other ARBs increase blood levels of potassium and phenibut can influence electrolyte balance if what I've read on that is correct. Or am I overthinking this and it's not that big of a deal? My doctor doesn't even know what phenibut is.

Is there anything else that should be avoided with phenibut?
 
I don't think it will interfere but I'm sure someone else on here has ran into the same problem. I've ran phenibut by SNS a few times and just took it pre-bed and I liked it.

Gotcha. Yeah, I'm sure I'm not the only one on BP meds. I only use phenibut when I take caffeine preworkout too late in the day (4pm is even too late for me) but if I don't, then my sleep suffers.
 
I take bp meds and have used phenibut. Never had an issue myself, but would discuss with your doctor as everyone and every drug reacts different.
 
Never had an issue while taking 80mg a day of telmisartan in the past. Didn't use phenibut often but a few times a month when I had trouble falling asleep and had 0 issues.

SNS's is phenomenal and affordable, so unless they use the same supplier I wouldn't be worried in the slightest. There's a lot out there in general it seems.

OP, no idea about BP drug interactions but generally the rule is no taking Phenibut if you take anti-depressants. Also, be very careful drinking on it as tolerance is greatly reduced. If you're going to take some before going to a party and have even a couple, don't drive.

Obviously in general don't use more than 3 days a week, less is better, and understand it IS addictive inherently. Taking once or twice a week for better sex or sleep or less anxiety in a special circumstance is the best way to use it.

Well, just took a light dose last night (1/4 scoop Rivavarant G) and slept great. No interaction.
Thanks for the rest of the info. No antidepressants or alcohol here to worry about. Just need need better sleep when I use caffeine too late in the day. Thanks everyone who chimed in.
 
Yup, always take dad. He'll sign autographs and stuff as we walk around. It's cool and makes him happy
