Derek Cornelius on bodybuilding.com says Octopamine increases insulin sensitivity and is anticatabolic. Does it really do these things? Are there any studies that confirm this. Does anyone here have experience using this for fat loss and if so does it work well?
I was interested in Octopamine also because a selective B-3 agonist sounded good in theory but it appears to be one of those supplements thats only effective in animal studies and is largely ineffective in vivo.
On the plus side Octopamine has proven very effective in hibernating bears and if you are interested in conducting research on bears this may prove to be a great supplement. I heard some dogs got really big off M-1T
