Am i correct in thinking that the nutritionon the package of ground turkey or
any meat for that matter is measured raw. When it says 4 oz is a serving size
that means 4 oz measured raw correct? Thanks guys

Thanks BigK, when i cook the meat would it change enough to make a difference when useing the info for setting up a diet

Yes it means 4oz raw. But...4oz cooked is going to have the same nutritional information as 4oz raw. Its still 4oz, unless you weigh it as 4oz before you cook it. The only reason for a change is the moisture, meat shrinks as you cook it. But you see, thats the only reason it would change the content, because it would be 3oz after you cook it, not 4.

When i cook my turkey burgers it is 4oz raw but when it is cooked it is about 2.5 oz. This would have the same info as the package says for 4 oz...right? Excuse me i am a little slow today. lol
